Wow, George Washington owned slaves? Like many Latin Americans, Africans, Arabs, and not a few Asians did?

Uniquely American Failing! Don't mention that the White English Speaking Evangelicals were the first people in the world to ban the Slave Trade! Does not compute with narrative!

By the way, George Washington freed all his slaves and even gave one an annuity.

And the leftists wonder why people prefer homeschool.
And it's why they recently floated the idea of "banning" home schooling.

Here is the National Review's rebuke:

This is like saying Galieo Galilei failed science because he didn't know about quantum physics at his time. Retarded.

You definitely are, TDS cult is a major cult these days.

Left today that hates America, hates its culture, worships welfare, socialism, and homosexuality, while hating anything American. Bunch of self loathing white faggots.

The Left: "No, we don't hate America"

Response to post that highlighted a ridiculous question about George Washington failing to free all the Slaves in a time when anti-Slavery was a brand new, Western invention unheard of anywhere else in the world:

Are you saying nobody could have known black people are people in 1789?

What year did the great Caliph Muhammed Al-Jawa propose eliminating all Slavery from the House of Islam, but "failed" to implement it? 1231?

See "Trumpists are the best and brightest".

/Dumb thread.

No dumb is to assume or expect that in a world filled with racism - black Africans have been and are still slaughtering and disowning white Africans as we type - this one guy who did a lot of cool things should have been really ahead of the rest of the billions of people on the planet and somehow risen to power in a complete cultural vacuum.

Or like saying Oscar Schindler was a piece of shit because he was a Nazi.

I've always felt it difficult to judge people who lived in a radically different time and place by standards of another, usually more modern, time and place. Especially when you may not know the details of their actions, such as their motives.

I'm under the impression that people of this era widely believed the science of the time which did things like measure the dimensions of the negro head and nose etc... and used this as "scientific fact" to prove the negro as subhuman or just different, justifying their differential treatment. This "commonly known societal norm" is very influential when most people you know believe a certain something, especially if it's "science". In fact, we see many people today still led astray by popular beliefs, especially if there's "science" to back it up.

Very, very few people break with the crowd.

I may think eating a beating human heart is barbaric, but I don't think it's right to criticize a Mayan for participating in the ceremonial offering 2000 years ago. They are only barbaric by today's standards. By standards of their time, that person may have been considered extremely virtuous.

The beauty of home schooling and hearing what they're teaching. Caught a video chat with the teacher explaining global warming... fuck the internet crashed.. lesson over.

It was bad. My wife gets pissed that I get so pissed about this stuff, but it was actual bull shit. 100% not factual. I'm the pat netter that hates the whole conversation because I know the only true factor in it all and it's not pleasant, though Covid is helping if you catch my drift.

Very, very ...

Agreed. Also today's holier than thou leftist politics teach kids a dangerous precedent and falsehood - that human beings have no prejudice and favorites and that they should expect to be treated 100% equal by everybody. Not only is this as far from the truth as it can be and sets them up for failure, it also promotes a conformist worklife where snitching is the norm, nothing gets done and it rewards people for making up lies for their own benefit or to punish others since it promotes guilty until proven innocent.

Legitimately just realized that I don't know why I posted this here. I guess the question of how kids are learning from the OP? LOL. Patnet happens.

Ah yes the old Literally Hitler meme. Well at least originality is something to consider as an area for future self improvement. Might I remind you that Fascism is Government-corporate collaboration to promote Tyranny. A modern example is Obamacare which sought to use government forces to compel people to buy private insurance. Obama is a fascist!
