I have friends who haven’t worked for decades, they’re retired, and they don’t deserve a dime.
Of course, they want the free money.
Free money isn’t free, it will come out of your 401K many times over in your lifetime.

The government should stop “saving” losers, but it’s a tradition that is hard to stop.
I have saved some of my money for decades, and invested money for my future needs, others don’t have the discipline to do it.

Only the old should get money or the weakened immune/lung people. Then lock them up in their houses and nobody visits them for about 3-5 months. Then everyone else goes back to work. If you're unemployed from something other than CV-19 or injury, you immediately should be given CV-19 to create herd immunity and given food stamps but not money and locked in your house. Work or virus, let's see what the bums choose... Boom, pandemic gone.

Why should money be given to people that didn't have a job, paid no taxes, are getting money from the government and never had to leave their house in the first place? If any money is to be given out it should be to people that are being forced out of work.

They are unemployed now - because of government inaction - so they should get their unemployment benefits (they rightfully paid for them!) And that is it.

Because government is trying to keep economy afloat. Viruses like this one (unlike AIDS) isn't their fault. None of us benefit from a nation with poor running around chasing possums for food. I wouldn't want that for my fellow Americans. I think a one time help is ok, this situation seems like it isn't unreasonable.

This is Chinas fault, but it's up to us to deal with it. You can't make China pay for this, and we certainly should protect our own from being fucked by globohomo mistakes with China fucks!
