I like breaking bad but not sure how they will make a movie, its not like it didn't have an ending.

I thoroughly enjoyed breaking bad, but sequels are never work out.

The prequel — Better Call Saul — was pretty bad. Mostly tedious and uninteresting.

The article states it'll be directly on Netflix, so at least I won't wast $16 in the movie theatre. (Yes, $16 is the cost here in silicon valley.)

I think I read somewhere that October 11th 2019 is the debut.

Mining the franchise. Only a matter of time before Disney buys it and adds it to their theme parks.

Completely disagree. Love the backstory on Slippin Jimmy, and Ehrmantraut. Jimmy's brother was a total psycho.

I liked the episodes featuring Ehrmantraut, but found Jimmy's brother a dumb plot and boring. That's just me; if you liked the prequel, that's great!

Proud to say I have never watched one single episode of Breaking Bad. I had as much interest in watching that show. As I did in getting know the local Meth Lab Thug, and hanging out with him and brewing craft Beer.

I assume you never watch TV then, as literally NOTHING has ever come close to being as good as Breaking Bad.

It really was a great show.
The title’s promise was kept.
I didn’t start it for a few years after it got going. Didn’t look interesting. Then I finally watched a couple episodes on Netflix and was hooked.

Same here it had finished out when I watched it.

I think I may have enjoyed Breaking Bad more than any other TV series.

I know a few people who initially objected to it on moral grounds (its glorification of crime and drugs) but ended up loving it once they realized its quality and genius.

I'm slowly becoming Heisenberg IRL - we actually have a lot in common lol.

The Shield was pretty damn good. GOT was amazing. Breaking Bad broke the mold and then some. Absolutely fucking epic.

When I first started dating my wife I was just finishing season 2. Shes seriously like a wholesome innocent thing. But she watched the first season of BB with me and was hooked. We were devout adherents for the rest of the series.

BTW I also liked Better call Saul a lot. Wife thought it was boring.

All in the Family reruns from the 70's.
The older you get the newer they get...

Breaking Bad has a lot going for it. There's a modicum of intellectual themes (chemistry, law), which is more than can be said about most shows.

I did forget about The Wire when I said that, but the action is a bit better, and the story is tighter. And there's a great juxtaposition of a father and husband struggling with trying to fulfill his family duties while fighting his demons(regret/anger over Grey Matter, and ego).
