Compound interest rate calculator says that $300 invested every month for 100 years at 6% interest will result in 16 million dollars. So now I want to start an inter-generational experiment where me and my child and grand child will invest $300 every month for 100 years and see how much money the account holds after 100 years. If experiment works then tall tales will be told about it all over and I will be rich and famous after my death.

The only question is where would I open such an account and what index fund (S&P tracker fund?) would I start investing $300 every month? Obviously I want to open an account at a place where money is protected using some sort of an index fund that is expected to last a hundred years.
