Leftards/Democrats: "But what if the woman is raped??! What if her life is in danger?!!!!! Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!"

I'm not even a big proponent of anti-abortion laws (I just don't want taxpayers being forced to fund them).

But the facts are that none of the left's made up talking points are real.

Left calls it "reproductive rights". Reproducing means making, not killing. So it's even stupid to call it "reproductive" when it's pure murder.

Not getting a girl pregnant is the same as an abortion?

Not the same. But it seems to me that a fetus in it's early stages is a potential human more than it is a human.

How is the fact that it will be a human any different than the fact that if I have a lot of sex with a lot of women, new humans will come in to existence ? To knowingly and intentionally not follow my sexual instincts as much as I possibly can is preventing potential humans from coming in to existence.

One of the unique things about humans is that they plan, even such things as whether to have children or not.

Now don't get me wrong. I'm not pro-abortion. I would like to see abortions minimized. But I don't believe that making them illegal is the way to do that. And I don't believe that we know when a human becomes a human.

THat was my point. Who's to say that in the eyes of god, a mouse with it's mature mouse consciousness isn't more precious than a 7 week fetus ?

You can argue, "but the fetus is going to be a human. That's what makes it so much more special. IT's going to become a human." So ? When you "rub one out" and throw the sperm away, that was something that could have become a human too. That's why Catholics also say masturbation is a sin (but possibly also becasue they want more Catholics).

In any case food for thought for those of you with the bandwidth and processing power.

How about we just match our abortion laws to be more like Western Europe where they have alot of restrictions after the 1st trimester? Instead, radical Democrats in New York, Illinois, North Carolina, California.... are passing laws trying to push abortions well into the 3rd trimester for virtually any reason.

The Left are the extremists on this issue.

My kids weren't much more "human" the first weeks out of the womb as they were inside. They still needed constant care, protection and feeding and couldn't be "viable" without support from the parents.

If that were true, there would not be so much resistance to having adoption counselors at "women's health" centers.

Maybe the anti-abortion warriors are part of our overlords plan to see the US become essentially a third world country.

Every time that someone with deep emotional challenges, who has been knocked up by an even more dysfunctional asshole, and has just enough sense to know that they don't have the ability to raise a child well, and also just enough sense to know that maybe, just maybe some of her and her lovers emotional problems are not just environmental.

If a pregnant woman intuitively questions whether the baby would be healthy even if raised well by someone else, based on emotional or other potentially congenital problems that she and or the sperm donor have, who am I to stand in the way of her making an informed decision ? IF it's illegal, that's possibly just causing more crime and prison problems down the line.

With a choice between having new citizens that are due to wanted abortions that were prevented by law versus illegal immigrants ? I know which one I would rather see populating the future.

But the other thing is who actually thinks that exponential population growth is sustainable ? At some point we will adopt strategies for population stability or even shrinkage. The tough thin is that means economies not growing or shrinking too.

We can't have that. Therefore exponential population growth until it brreaks !!

It must be nice to be so god like that you know when a human life become a life.

So, the Pro-Abortion List has determined the answer?

You'd probably realize this before delivery day.

As expected, the Illinois Senate voted 34-20 on Friday to pass a bill that is even more extreme than New York's infanticide law. The "Reproductive Health Act" repeals the state's ban on partial-birth abortion, allowing abortions through nine months, and requires insurance companies to provide coverage.

The above picture and Senate Bill don't suggest to me that the Left is merely "Pro-Choice", or wants to keep it "Safe but Rare".

Yeah, IL is fucked up. At least on New Years though I'll be able to smoke a bunch of weed from a minority owned pot farmer who got an interest free loan from the state because of their skin color or gender. No pension crisis here. Let's just give people free money and keep kicking the can down the road.
