As long as Leftists insist on creating special programs of privilege for special minority groups, there will be people gaming that system. Stop doing that and our distinctions are no longer exploitable. But that would mean that the Left could no longer exploit our differences for gain, which would remove a key fulcrum from their leverage on Americans. So we can’t have that.

Why does the USG hold North American Indians to a higher standard of having to prove their ancestry (tribal register) than Spanish Indians who just have to say they are Spanish or Hispanic, no proof required.
