This is a 3rd word type solution that may "help" very few.

The real solution:
1. Repeal prop 13 - helps ease the housing crisis (https://medium.com/@ericmkingsbury/the-real-reason-we-dont-build-in-palo-alto-or-any-high-cost-part-of-california-d8ff46d46b52)

2. Repeal and replace residential (NIMBY) zoning laws with something more modern.

Sure, but first repeal SIT and sales tax. Prop 13 is a result of tax revolt, there was a good reason for it to be voted in and there are even more reasons for it to stay. We are not blind and we see clearly what happens in other Dem-controlled tax hells like IL.

If you can't afford the house then move away. Move to a shit hole in the middle of the country. Why don't people quit being disingenuous posers. That's why SF is so full of fake it interlopers that are way out of their league. 90% of them belong at the Elk Club in Columbus Ohio they talking about "Let Me IN!" to the most exclusive real estate in the United States.
Ya'll's some funny mother Fuckers. Fake broke ass bitches. And OH! This plate aint clean wash it again!

3. Repeal War and mandate World Peace, while you are at it.

No way...I mean NO WAY will Prop 13 get repealed. OH, it needs to be...or at least modified to be 'progressive' in its formula. But it won't.

(Part of my NO WAY point is that Prop 13 is both a constitutional amendment and a voter initiative. ONLY another voter initiate could repeal/modify it...and they would have to have enough votes for that to be a constitutional amendment also. So...again, NO WAY).

I thought, Prop 13 is pushing the government to relying more on SIT and sales tax as an alternatives.

If there is a genuine reason to believe the property tax is too high at 1% rate, why not go for lowering it like 0.1-0.5%. But it has to be the same for everybody irrespective of timing, whether it is parchased now or 10,20,30... years from now.

https://www.evolve-ca.org/prop-13-facts/
"Under the current system, two identical businesses side-by-side may pay drastically different property taxes. This penalizes new businesses by making them subsidize their established competitors’ property tax."

How can this be ethical.
