Can't recognize the term "Wire Transfer" on the IVR

In development for 25 years.

Don't hold your breath for robot McD's workers running the place.

Invented by someone who lives someplace where it doesn't rain much is the first thing that comes to mind.

Get t-boned by my SUV when you blow a stop sign and 100% be dead. I'll need a new bumper.

WookieMan & zzyzzx fell for it, too.

You do know planes have two yolks? Similar concept and would be easier to drive on left side driving or right side. You have two options. It's a good idea, but you'll die if hit.

The rain thing too.

We didn't fall for anything. It would be able to be sold in about 100% of countries outside of safety concerns like highway driving. I don't like EV's but it's a logical commuter that could be sold in dry urban areas. 10-20 miles max.

It's not real.

It's as real as these:

Only if the pilot carries 2 eggs along. Anyway, I think the two yoke illusion is from a second vehicle parked next to it. with the AI considering the body of the 2nd vehicle hidden. What looks strange is why the dashboard has been replaced with the headlight, cowling, and rear-view mirrors of a motorcycle, all facing the driver instead of the road.

What AI can do now.

Jurassic Park with raptors as they really were:

Can AI summarize a youtube video? If so, how?

AI guys, which AI do you recommend to make images or videos? do these things work well? i see a lot of ai generated videos online, no idea what they use.

At work AI summarizes daily or weekly my zoom meetings, my slack conversations, all confluence pages it thinks I should be aware of. It's maddening, the company purchased it, I can't turn it off or make it leave me alone. I have to at least acknowledge it (good puppy!) to make it go away.

I personally use catboost for my own AI models but that is for biological predictions.

I'm not sure which is best. I was asking chatGPT to make stick and ascii diagrams before I realized it had evolved to the point that it can make great pictures.

I don't have a X account and so haven't used Grok.

After posting this I looked on Amazon for some stakes for my peppers and Rufus summarized the reviews:

Customers find these garden stakes sturdy, noting they hold up well in weather conditions and don't bend or crack. They work effectively with other garden essentials and are perfect for staking tomato plants, with one customer mentioning they worked particularly well for heavy flowered peonies. Customers appreciate their exact length, ease of insertion into the ground, and straightforward assembly, while also considering them good value for money.

https://www.reddit.com/r/fuckHOA/comments/1k84i71/ai_is_making_fighting_my_hoa_much_easier/

AI is making fighting my HOA much easier

The last time I fought my HOA (and won) it took hours of time thumbing through our governing documents to make my argument and file a complaint with my state’s community ombudsman.

This time? Less than 10 minutes.

My HOA is attempting to implement rules that you can only use certain amenities with a paid reservation - a direct violation of our governing documents. ChatGPT was able to review all of our documents and cite specific sections that the board has violated.

I highly recommend taking that approach if you are in a similar situation.

I think it's already manipulating narratives to support those in power.
113   The_Deplorable   2025 Aug 14, 11:26am

About some of the above comments... Compare AI to Google: Google was easy to manipulate, to hide information from the public to serve the interests of Globalism. AI is much more difficult, if not impossible to manipulate because you have a large number of AI devices. Look at the recent behavior of Grok for example!

That is true MolotovCocktail as I see a lot more "self service" used in industries like retail banks.

They want you to use the ATM machine that offers different services, and usually only have 1 teller. The ATM machine has an AI-human assistant.

I heard some local hipster restaurants are going to use AI-robot waiters in the next few years.

https://provenrobotics.ai/how-do-waiter-robots-work/

But I see even manufacturing going more into robotics with the genesis of this going back about 40 years with robots using for paint booth operations and tack welding stations.

Elon Musk is a major visionary in regards to this. Tesla's robot, named Optimus, is a general-purpose humanoid robot designed to perform dangerous, repetitive, or boring tasks. Developed by Tesla, Inc., it is intended for use in factories to improve safety and efficiency, and in the future, for household chores and other consumer applications. The robot uses Tesla's AI technology, including its Autopilot system, and is being trained on tasks like walking, carrying objects, and precise manipulation.

They have self serve kiosks at McDonald's, and one employee taking the orders of the customers and entering them into the self serve kiosk for the customers. That's how well it's going ;)
