Wow, so the Sams harvested their own timber, transported it over roads they owned and built, to factories they built themselves from raw materials from lands they owned, and shipped it on railroads they owned and built to customers they visited along roads they built on land they owned...
The point of the "you didn't build that" remark was, everyone's economic successes are interdependent on the work and successes of others in the economic and physical world. This is known as CIVILIZATION. You should recognize its existence, and your place within it sometime, mister fierce independent success.

Yes, you are right about that--credit should be given where it's due. It's generally infrastructure and municipal services, but some individual initiative has to take place to accomplish the results..
The people that we bomb on foreign soil are not our enemy.
They are also not enemy of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain and UAE, yet those countries are taking in few refugees.

No one in biblical times thought the world was flat. The Greek mathematician Eratosthenes quite accurately calculated the circumference of the Earth 200 years before Christ was born. Nor in medieval times either. The flat earth myth was a mockery of catholic teaching by protestants.
