For the First Time in History, Women Are Binge Drinking More Than Men

For nearly a century, women have been closing the gender gap in alcohol consumption, binge drinking and alcohol use disorder. What was previously a 3-1 ratio for risky drinking habits in men versus women became nearly identical after a 2016 analysis of several dozen studies. Additionally, in 2019, U.S. women in their teens and early 20s reported drinking and getting drunk at higher rates than their male peers. That data lines up with data pulled from the NIAAA’s research which showed college-aged women are leading the pack.

The last time I ate at one 7yrs ago was the last time I gave no tip. Horrible food and service, looked more like nursing home food. I could not understand how such a place could stay in business outside of a senior community.

You can agree or disagree with Butker, but what you cannot do is give a good-faith argument for why the entire country has to care, and care deeply, about what was said at a private ceremony for college graduates they don’t know, at a school most of them have probably never heard of, in a town they don’t have any personal connection to and probably couldn’t even find on a map. When it comes to the problems affecting, or even potentially effecting, my life, I can promise you that nothing that happens at a graduation ceremony, could possibly rank among my top thousand problems, let alone the very top problem, as I don’t personally know any of the graduates. And anybody who tries to tell me that I must care about it, that I must make it my problem, is full of shit and completely insane. But of course, we’re talking about feminists here, and two of their defining traits are being full of shit and being completely insane. Another of their defining characteristics is malignant narcissism.

Yep, I ate there once or twice in the 90s and didn't go there again until my elderly mom asked to go maybe a decade ago. Service was unimpressive and the food was very blah. I think the oldies like to go to ooh and ahh over the candy displays in the entrance from long ago.

I have a theory about happy people. Happy people feel remarkably uncompelled to point out to other people how very happy they are. It's unnecessary. Rather, they just go about their day, you know, being happy.

With that in mind, permit me to introduce you to Glynnis MacNicol, guest Opinion Essayist for The New York Times.

The Tavistock geniuses are trying to make young people sex lepers as part of the general demoralization plan. I've known some older guys who did anal sex and wound up with chronic prostatitis and pain. The bacteria nest and can become sequestered in there (antibiotics have difficulty getting rid of them), also likely an irritant that can increase cancer risk.
