In early 2009, just after Obama assumed office, I distinctly recall a predominant attitude expressed in pundit/media/political circles: give the guy a chance. He was just elected with a stark popular mandate and was therefore owed some measure of deference, at least in the early stages of the presidencybefore the Administration had been fully settled in. Republicans were chastised for not being sufficiently deferential. The antiquated term for this proposed time period was Honeymoon.

Until I'd seen a million women march against him, I was fairly partial against Trump.

Now, I'm firmly convinced that the man needs to be given a chance because for one ... he'd won the election, fair and square. This was not a re-play of Katherine Harris/Jeb Bush and the Supreme Court shenanigans of 2000 down in Florida where in fact, the election was stolen.

Then, in my Election Bitches post, I made it clear that all these 'Sex in the City' Boston/NYC/DC Femi-Nazi types would never live in "not cool" areas like the Great Lakes because they need to be surrounded by worthless white knights who'll prop up their shallow existences.

If even a fraction of these protestors were simply living in the midwest, Hillary would have won. Yes, it was as simple as that. Move out there, get some line of work, and deal with the fact that Ivy League men won't be at your beck 'n call. Yes, rebuild the Lakes' economies ladies!

And finally, even Bernie agrees with Trump's stance against poor trade agreements.

That's the big black baby in the bath water I remember.

The Legacy Media was militantly against Trump before the Election, had a few days of shock, and went right into deligitimization mode after the Election.

Some dull memos outlining that Communications Directors at Federal Agencies should not be making big announcements, website changes, etc. until the Beachhead Teams have had a chance to settle in, is being characterized as an assault on free speech.

Everything this Admin does will be reported in the most tendentious, negative manner. Even lefties tuned the media out, which was a big Trump booster. "He's so awful, I don't need to bother. She'll win in a landslide."

Rebuilding lakes economies for these ladies. What are they going to do, spend money to bring the Great Lakes into a state of prosperity?

And now Trump says he is launching an investigation into massive voter fraud, with emphasis on illegals being registered to vote.
That should spin some Leftist heads! Make California Great Again! Get all the illegals off the voter rolls! It's got to be millions at this point, and all faithful Democrat voters. There's a good reason why conservatives here feel powerless against an increasingly insane Leftist state government. But the illegals are in every community, often making up a near majority, and voter Registration is done on the honor system. "Do you swear that you are a citizen? Ok, then, here's your voter ID and polling place! Don't worry, you won't have to give an ID there either!"

A lot of them actually have telecommutable white collar jobs in insurance, banking, etc. Some can setup a home office in Madison WI, Ann Arbor MI, Minneapolis MN, Indianapolis, etc, while pretending to be working in Boston. And then as time goes by, they can perhaps open up an in-shoring office in a midwestern locale, away from the high CoL cities like Boston, NYC, or DC and hire a bunch of midwesterners.

The above is very doable but these women have zero interest in leaving the Boston-to-DC corridor because those areas aren't urban chic. Trust me, I'd met a bunch of these bitches and many wouldn't even attend the Univ of Wisconsin/Madison because NYU is just so much cooler!

Oh, & they won't attend the Univ of London, which BTW, is very urban chic because of the lack of grade inflation over there. So once again, you'll find many more Asian and eastern European women over there who do the work.

Leftists were fine with giving Bernie a chance, - note that he was meeting with lead US communists in the 1980s.

http://nypost.com/2016/01/16/dont-be-fooled-by-bernie-sanders-hes-a-diehard-communist/

Leftists were against Reagan when he sought Nuclear missile reduction with Russia, Democratization of the USSR, proposed the fall of communist rule, and proposed tearing down the Berlin wall.

Reagan was for liberty of the people to the East of the Berlin Wall, and also to the West.

Please send articles from ABC news, WaPo where they constantly critisized Reagans goals with Russia.

Now that Obama undid much of what Reagan did, where are the liberals, what are they doing?

Apparently, liberals are either Communism Denyers, or just not much into studying the rise of fall of communism.

Yes, this is what keeps me coming to Trump's defense. Not so much that I like Trump the person, but anyone who can cause the legacy press to completely abandon journalism and devolve into daily spittle-flecked bug-eyed hyperventilation definitely deserves my support for that reason alone. The home page of the NY Times has become worse than Fox News with its spin. There's a good chance that their editorial staff will start dropping dead from strokes and the news will become a tad more balanced, perhaps with one (only one) somewhat positive article one day about something Trump has done, such as agreeing with Sanders that the TTP is bad for ordinary Americans.

ten·den·tious also ten·den·cious (tĕn-dĕn′shəs)
adj.
Marked by or favoring a particular point of view; partisan: a tendentious account of the recent elections.

Lol, what a perfectly relevant definition!

If Trump helps reduce the $1T/Year deficit, brings jobs back to america, Invests in R&D, improves infrastructure, helps quell violent drugs in cities, suggests to drug addicts that its not good for you brain.

Trump is attempting real progressive reform.

Leftists want their 1980s communism and Nuclear Winter options back.

Liberalism/Socialism/Communism is Regressive and has killed more people (save for Plagues)

Republicanism has its roots in Revolutionary France, and stands for Liberty, Egalitarianism, Frateritie!

What delivers the most equal rights to all? What educates the masses and females of all?

What creates the highest standard of living for all? What creates fair laws for all?

Which country has taken in the most immigrants in the last 200 years? Which country do immigrants go up the earning chain fastest of any place in the world.

Summary - the US is not the fascist high growth place some make it out to be - in fact many may not relise that there are many good things, but we need to reduce the fascism to let liberty and freedom blossom.

I'm afraid you've become a victim of confirmation bias:

bwahahahahaha. You're hilarious. Trump will balloon the deficit to levels you can't even fathom today.

Speaking of lies.
http://www.breitbart.com/video/2017/01/25/abcs-nightline-issues-correction-after-misrepresenting-fleischer-to-make-him-seem-more-critical-of-spicer/

When a globalist like Ari Fleischer has to call out the MSM on some outright editing lies, you know they've lost all credibility. Yet these same dishonest reporters are the sources you give that Trump is always lying. Hmm.

17   joeyjojojunior   2017 Jan 25, 10:20am

Please do, but this time DON'T regurgitate the same exact story from three different websites.. (and don't come back with bullshit WaPo or NYT either). What the fuck is wrong with you??

Well, I knew you usually attack the source so I figured I'd make it more difficult by giving you many sources. What else do you want? Those sources prove my point.

That requires a tad bit of ingenuity and effort. Why do all that when you've got a white knight groveling at your feet?

Get a grip, quotes get edited all the time in all of the media. Breitbart is a champion of it, which makes them complaining about it pretty funny.

You don't need a reporter for a source, trumps own speech's provide the source. Putting your head up your ass and saying it wasn't a lie because I don't want to find out if it's true or not isn't the same as not lying.

Trump has always been a narcissistic spoiled brat bullshit artist. I remember seeing his spiel in the 80's and it hasn't changed a bit. The trump apologists who can't accept that are just idiots.

If trump can make things work by being trump, then great. I thought Bush and Obama could make things work too, that didn't happen.

Exactly!

And believe it or not, if one of my good pals didn't leave Univ of Michigan grad school, I would have gotten our senior partners to open up a back office support team out in Ann Arbor MI. I would have then, split my time between Michigan and New England and I'd be able to see hoes out in Windsor Ontario, just across the river from Detroit, any night of the week while I'm out there.

Trust me, as along as the big wig execs believe in you, a lot of stuff can happen. That's why my whole PR consulting gig, which is my ace in the hole for MD admissions, is working out so well. The seniors completely believe in me and thus, have given me an expense account for lodging & livery services, wherever I want to go including Montreal & Toronto. They don't care. I'd made each of 'em, $100M+ richer, in just a few years.

No, it's usually you who don't understand. In any event-you're calling the tax foundation bogus now?

You didn't think it was bogus when they scored Sander's proposed tax plan...

He is given a chance. Media noise is just that - noise. His biggest challenge would be to work with Congress.

24   Ceffer   2017 Jan 25, 1:01pm

I thought being elected Pres WAS being given a chance.
