he did that several times before the incident as shown in the video. the reason he went crazy with the reporter due to higher degree of dishonesty of the reporter.

also note only ONE hand of that reporter visibly has the problem. Trump was using BOTH hands, on ALL occasions.

Trump supporters are amazing. All the videos you refer to are after as far as I know, and not all that comparable, and the Larry King one is the only one that I know is before. . 1. he flexed his hands to mock a general in that SAME speech. video in link below.
2. the disabled reporter CANNOT flex his hand. it's part of his disability. the media hides this fact. if Trump was mocking the guy's disability, he would NOT have moved his hand.

Okay, I looked it up. The video on this page called "100% proof Trump didn't mock reporters disability" when Trump is talking about Ted Cruz, is from about Feb 7th or 8th 2016.

THe Reporter was mocked in November 2015. This totally fits my idea that it's damage control. What, you think Trumps handlers didn't understand how damaging it was ?
