What you're basically referencing is the enforcement of immigration laws.

You can just as well argue that a number of our agricultural and custodial workers were trafficked from Latin American countries. Does that make picking crops a crime? Or simply the fact that cheesy employers have by-passed immigration laws in return for a $2/hr worker?

Plus, unlike cheap labor, prostitution is actually a well paying job. Any escort of value up north, starts at $170/hr, many attractive ones range from $200 to $500/hr. Those are billing rates of our management consultants, financiers, and physicians, not visa-less workers.

So in order for a Canuck co-ed to have the *good life* (vacations, clothes, jewelry, etc), since the school-based scholarships aren't exactly six figure incomes, she'd rather be an escort and make up the difference in no time. This is a a fact of life in MTL.
