Patrick, if you see this, is it intentional that one can no longer see how many people ignore a certain person?

@Patrick, It is still a little confusing that one does not get to that page (with the ignore count stats etc) by clicking on the username, but rather get to https://patrick.net/users/8e6e0 , which is a different page that contains user's posts/comments. Not sure how I'm supposed to the stats except remembering the URL. Maybe I'm overlooking something.

@justme OK I fixed it so that ignore and friend counts are on the user page, for example https://patrick.net/users/8e6e0

Well, if there are 0 friends I just leave that out.

You can click on the friend count to get to a list of that user's friends, but ignores are still anonymous. Meaning that only the user ignoring and the one being ignored know about it.

But why should you care how many other users someone is ignoring?

Patrick, he shouldn't if he values free speech and expression.

I find it amusing that the left needs safe spaces to shelter in place from Microagressions, and that they literally have taken over large portions of college/university campuses to only allow voices and messages that they agree with (to the point of intimidating faculty).

One of the main points of vigorous education, especially at the university level, is to become exposed to as many viewpoints as possible, to the point of causing discomfort, in order to help the individual student develop a highly examined and scrutinized self-awareness and set of viewpoints forged by rigorous, critical thinking.

Now, college/university campuses are turned into "safe space" conformity zones for overgrown babies who are weak-minded and weak-willed, who will inevitably be crushed when they wander out into the real world one day.
