These attacks seem to happen every time we are told it is safe...

this
President Barack Obama said in an interview that aired Thursday that "The American people should feel confident that, you know, we are going to be able to defend ourselves and make sure that, you know, we have a good holiday and go about our lives."

The interview was taped Wednesday, as details were still coming out about the shooting in San Bernardino, California, and before the two suspects had been identified.

and this
On Thursday, President Barack Obama declared in an interview that ISIS had been "contained," asserting that the terror cell had been stalled in Iraq and Syria.

The next day, ISIS claimed responsibility for one of the worst terror attacks in European history, shattering what had been a growing sense of momentum in the global fight against extremists and driving home the frightening ability of ISIS to inspire and possibly coordinate attacks outside their power base in Iraq and in Syria.

and this
"Major combat operations in Iraq have ended," Bush said, the infamous "Mission Accomplished" banner hovering over him. "In the battle of Iraq, the United States and our allies have prevailed."

Instead, the speech and the banner became a symbol of the unpopular war, which would last another eight brutal years.

Obama, like was stated by detractors early on, is in entirely over his head. Worse yet(bush Jr. Was in over his head too), Obama continually appoints incredibly unqualified persons to key executive branch positions...Hillary as Secretary of State...are you &$%#ing kidding me....Rahm Emmanual and Loretta Lynch as Attorney general, and so forth. The one well qualified guy...Leon Panetta...well Obama just ignores him.

Truly unbelievable that people in the US are so ideologically brainwashed by msnbc that they worship this turd while he crushes the US stature in the world and helps make The United States actively unsafe. Unbeleivable that blacks in the US are so racist that they support this unqualified community organizer even when he is clearly the worst president ever. It has been since late 2008 amatuer hour in the White House.

I know we are supposed to believe that the President is competent and in charge, but the only real skill he/she has is the ability to get elected. He is a spokesperson, the face of the country. He is like a CEO. Teams of other people are making the decisions, doing the analysis, creating policy. He is just the smile, voice and handshake.

Who knew Romney was the most qualified

This is the gist of it.
I wonder if there were any other presidents elected with less qualifications

unqualified community organizer even

Bush appointed Rumsfeld, Powell, rice, Ashcroft. All competent, and in the case of Rice, very intelligent.

Oh and I almost forgot another Obama greatest appointment...Eric holder...yay incompetence!

It's all about soundbites that serve to manufacture a preferred reality. That's the extent of the US attention span and a reflection of our desire not to see things as they are but how we want them to be.

Funny how it backfires in hindsight...
Also crystallizes the actual reality that they don't know what the hell they are talking about...

If the libbies were so hellbent on being part of the process of electing the first black president, they could have done a hell of a lot better getting behind Powell...
At least he has a clue how the real world operates.

We now have a Oboma clone on the repub side-Rubio. Thank God for Trump!!

10   FuckTheMainstreamMedia   2015 Dec 4, 9:11am

Absolutely. Powell would have won the presidency in 2000 if he had decided to run. The left couldn't get behind the first black prez being a Republican though, even someone who is a true moderate like Powell.

FWIW even though I don't share the same ideologies, Powell would have made an amazing president.

11   HEY YOU   2015 Dec 4, 9:52am

After all these years Rep/Cons are still happy with 8 year Bush & his ilk about 9/11 & WMD or they would prosecuted the Failures.

12   Blurtman   2015 Dec 4, 7:01pm

Powell showed his true colors by lying about WMD's. The only positive from that fiasco was tarnishing his reputation so badly that he was taken out of contention for any further political career.
