First, some pics of the allegedly 17-year old "Poor Boy Refugee":

The prelude was played on Saturday evening when a Finnish TV station MTV broadcast a short conversation between the Finnish prime minister Juha Sipilä and an asylum seeker Fahad Firas at the Oulu refugee centre.

MTV Interview of Fahad with the Finnish (right wing) PM. Fahad claims to be 17 (in English) around 20 second in.

Sadly, in Yaak-moose-aan language, but you can see him talking with the PM. And yeah, the PM is married with 5 kids, so it's not a gay thing.

Here is a synopsis in case the above doesn't work:
https://www.youtube.com/embed/HMPVlDvox8s

In the interview the boy explains that he may look “big” but he is only 17 years old and that he can prove this. He also states that his father was killed and he, himself, was kidnapped. The boy says that he is from Irak. The prime minister just keeps on listening and nodding with sympathy.

The prime minister was so touched by his encounter with the refugees that he agreed to let his house in Kempele, a municipality next to Oulu, become a home for refugees at the turn of the year, when his own family moves to southern Finland.

Seeing the interview, people could not believe their eyes, and began to search for more information – there was a lot to be found.

Starting with Facebook, of course. Here it is, archived:

He's joined a gym (imagine what membership costs in Helsinki... $100/month?)

Apparently this 17-year-old was born on the 16th of November, 1995. He will turn 20 in a couple of months.

He may have some military background, and he has been staying in quite many countries, for example Germany and Bulgaria, before coming to Finland. According to his own posting on Internet he seems to have spent some time in prison when he was younger.

He is a servant of Allah and likes to build up his upper body.

One of his top four favourite movies is Asslovers. Another one is Texas Chain Saw Massacre.

So what got people so upset? Red Cross is asking people to donate money, clothes, volunteer work, knit woollen socks for them, and even to house these refugees. And people give, what they possibly can depart with, even though the Finnish Red Cross makes about 65 million euros annually by selling the blood that the Finns donate. Still, people give. To the poor refugees.

Then you see this guy on television and learn that 80 per cent of the refugees coming to Finland are young men like him – not women, children or families – and something snaps.

At the moment Europe is being invaded by these young men, and mainstream media is trying to cover it up. Last night the truth came out and now people are talking, heatedly, about what is really going on.

Note his English is nearly perfect; he uses a lot slang on his Facebook page and spells better than many native-English speaking jocks his age. This guy probably drops big bucks on eating, if not steroids. He's not married, has no kids, and almost certainly had a decent education.

Are Europeans even allowed to discuss these?

4   MisdemeanorRebel   2015 Sep 10, 11:44am

Yep. But you know how it works. Center-left, run by middle class clerisy, whines about goodness and light and joining multi cult. Center-right, run by business, wants to break the welfare state and impose 'labor discipline'. The Center-right will make a few vague reform of immigration promises, remember Merkel's statement a while back? Then she'll turn around and embrace immigration of the most polar-opposite of Western values refugees by the multiple boatload.

Just like the Republicans, they'll fulminate against illegals, but there's no way they want wages to rise or worse, reunionization of their meatpacking plants. So they'll advocate a wall instead of enforcement, which does nothing but shovel billions to their MIC supporters. The Democrats want the support of votes of ethnic special interest groups.

The only thing that can save Europe is the nationalist right.

More Facebook finds of Migrants or "Refugees" in their former roles back home.

The fun starts around 1:40
From Czech TV - you won't find this in Western Europe, of course.

The only thing that can save Europe....

is a realization by the left and centrists that the enemy of their enemy is not necessarily their friend.

With good reason, the European left and centrists have demonized the "right wing" "nationalist" "fascists" and neo-Nazis. Those parties campaign on nostalgia for "traditional" imagery, but they have nothing really to offer except scapegoating and lies. UKIP reaches the Forthood voter, but never explains how stopping gay couples from getting married will help Britain in any way. Ditto Marine LePen and her Forthood supporter who blew his own brains out all over the altar at Notre Dame de Paris. Scapegoating is not a solution. Europe doesn't need another fascist along the lines of Mussolini, Franco, or The One Who Must Not Be Named For Fear of Godwin's Law.

Unfortunately, many people cherish a delusion that they have only one enemy, one "great Satan," whether it's the neo-Nazis or whoever. It's a heuristic: whatever the Enemy says, the identitarian liberals want to say the opposite. They forget that even a broken clock is right twice a day, and they don't want to see that they have multiple enemies. They want to believe that everyone loves them and wants to be just like them, except the one acknowledged enemy. So, because the nationalist fringe parties (including neo-Nazis) oppose immigration, the majority support it.

The question is how to get the majority to make the effort of critical thinking, and ask what policies make sense, instead of substituting the easier question of "what does my leader/enemy say?" The centrist leaders, being paid lavishly to say what they say, are not a reliable indicator. The nationalist/fascist fringe, consisting mostly of idiots (e.g. Forthood) and their exploiters, are not a reliable indicator either. The vast majority, being easily divided, have no mechanism by which to insist on policy results. With manufactured consent, most people vote their party without question.

Ross Perot, by campaigning on a balanced budget in 1992 and 1996, helped to focus attention on that issue and to produce a balanced budget by 1998. Donald Trump is a clown, but like the 'wise fool' who could speak to power in royal times, he may focus attention on issues related to immigration.

Europe has too many centrists and fascists, when it needs a Ross Perot or Donald Trump to change the terms of debate.

I don't know, @Curious2. I feel that Neoliberalism and Identitarianism (the latter in Europe) is so strong the only remaining competing viable power source is Nationalism.

What could be created is something along a Sam Harris/Dawkins/Secular Liberal-Conservative inspired powerbase that celebrates Science but Unlike the "Underdog is Always Right. Is never just a whiny, sick Loser" recognizes that the Intolerant cannot be Tolerated.

Sometimes a hateful loser is just a hateful loser, not a just victim. For example, Morrissey is a royal Asshole, people still think he's "Misunderstood Romantic Introvert". He's just a pompous Narcissistic Cunt.

Because the West really does need an overarching ideology beyond "Git Money". Whether that's Space Exploration or "Science Worship".

I bet that if we see a big electoral shift towards those parties causing them to win that the foretold fascism and nazism will not occur. Yes, they are in some ways reactionary to today's world, but opposition to gay marriage is not a good indicator for fascism, many countries in Europe currently don't have full marriage equality. I don't see parallels to Mussolini, Franco or Hitler, some vague romanticism perhaps. Likely they would build coalitions with parties to the left of them and become more mainstream as it is the natural progression. I think a fair evaluation of those 'fringe' parties would be in order after they have been part of a significant coalition.

I find it strange that Merkel is a conservative and is allowing so many refugees in? Unless in Germany it means different things-what is the liberal/left position on the flood of men?

I think that is why the conservative establishment is so mad at trump-they would have to actually do something for a change.

I didn't understand the reference at the time, but a report today about his SFO complaint provided a clue. I've never experienced anything to complain about at SFO.

I could see that getting funding from Silicon Valley, but I don't know how many votes it would get. Most American voters are religious, and the politicians are afraid of offending religious voters. Islamic terrorism might change the debate though.
