A man living in Japan and shivering his timbers with anything but a beautiful real Japanese woman, and there's millions of them.
Would be like someone that just don't stand a chance to laid otherwise.

As for sex, guys are banging VRs of their anime gals or using the sex doll brothels.

Won't be long before Britney Spears and the like will be available in these doll brothels. What about politicians like Nancy Pelosi and Michelle Bachmann? I'm sure they will go at Entry level prices. Just imagine...the opposition won't have to just say "F you" anymore. They can bang a look alike to let off steam.
It's gonna be a weird world.

My question is....is there a true substitute for the real thing? Someone that reacts during sex. Moans, moves, reacts, pushes, squirms, sweats and climbs all over you.
Half the pleasure is giving pleasure to your partner.

Personally, I just like to play with some t*ts and *ss.

But yeah, the moving and squirming is kinda nice. BTW, a good escort will give you that w/o the whole "I love you! l need you!" thing which makes the act of boinking like a pre-ritual for a relationship and then, marriage.

Rin, why not start a business renting out Celebrity look alike VR dolls? The Fed Ex guy could deliver them in a box.
If the wife opens the box, the hubbies could always say it was for the pervert next door. :)

What? Kindergartners use more adult content. Just look at all the sexual harassment those little perverts engage in.

An interesting article on the dynamics of family money management in Japan ...

http://kotaku.com/the-world-of-japanese-husband-salaries-506417591

Excerpt: "In Japan, there's the salary you get from your company. And if you are a married man, there's the salary you get from your wife. It's called "okozukai" (お小遣い), which is sometimes translated as "pocket money". Think of it as a husband salary. That's what it is.

Traditionally, Japanese women control a family's finances. Even if the wife works, she still is supposed to manage the household's money. As The Japan Times pointed out, in around half of Japanese households, the wife controls all the finances. (Note that the number is down from previous years in what could be a generational shift.) And in thirty percent of marriages, both the husband and wife control the finances together. And in only twenty percent of households do the husbands control the finances.

Japanese law does not allow joint or family accounts (only individual accounts!); so when it's said that the wife controls the money, that's exactly what it means.

Often, when married men in Japan befriend other married men, a common question might be how much one gets for okozukai. Every year, the Japanese media even reports on the average monthly pocket money Japanese husbands get from their spouses.

"I met my wife, who is eight years older than I am, while working at a diner as a student," 35 year-old Shinya Horikawa, who works at a video game company, recently told ZakZak. "After we got married, there was a complete change. Now, of course, my salary and everything in the house is controlled (by my wife)."

"

Well, so the rumor which I'd been hearing from east Asians, as well as westerners dating Japanese women is based on truth, women do control the purse strings. If so, I can see why men would opt out of dating.

16   Shaman   2015 Mar 26, 2:06pm

This is bad and I'm not terribly proud of myself but...
One time I was on vacation in a foreign asian country and met a couple of Japanese girls. One was pretty cute and I felt confident. Our communication wasn't great, but I invited her to some meals and took we dancing. She told me she's had a boyfriend for 9 years, but never had sex.
I fixed that little issue for her. Japanese guys must have zero game.

Here's one thing, in Japan, anime is huge.

The American guys who're hugely into anime, in such an obsessive manner, are basically the stereotypical Dungeons & Dragons dorks of yesteryear. I'd stopped playing D&D after three sessions, as it was an obsessive-compulsive medieval fantasy disorder, and it didn't fit with my active lifestyle of actually being outdoors, when I'm not doing homework inside.

I don't like stereotypical STEM dorks which is why I like sports, classic rock, writing, and other stuff, in addition to SciFi.

In America, cartoons are kids' stories or some off beat comedy like 'Family Guy' where one gets a chuckle and clicks away. And I haven't seen any 'Tom and Jerry' episodes since I was ten years old. So I believe that anime, especially given its content, extends childhood dreams so far, that as an adult, no one wants the role of a salaryman, along with the cultural expectations it evokes (like the purse strings).

That's all it takes really. Even in Boston, a Japanese (not Japanese-American) woman asked me out on a date, after we'd attended a round table meeting with others. Basically, she was also not dating back home. Unfortunately, I was with that Canadian during the time so I'd turned her down.

Anime I don't get. I'm not interested in seeing cartoonish waifs attacked sexually by tentacled demons. Doesn't do it for me.

21   Rin   2015 Mar 26, 6:11pm

There's the tentacle porn but outside of that, there are all kinds of genres in anime which make movies with real ppl, less appealing in mass, esp when one is deluged with cartoons all of the time.

I mean the manga/anime cyberpunk, 'Ghost In The Shell', was inspiration for the Matrix films but few in the US, cared to watch a cartoon of a futuristic dystopia and would rather watch real actors (mixed with CGI) have such an adventure.

So I guess you'd stop taking classes since high school. It explains your simpleton mind. No wonder why the British Empire had collapsed.

I'd take courses in high school, college, and afterwards. I'm always doing homeworks, all of the time, unlike you, who's proud of being with a woman with a white fetish, since this thread is obviously about Japanese women not preferring their own men,

If anything, you're the typical loser ex-pat, proud of how you'd been able to score with Asian chicks. Guess what, anyone can.

If I were to post the following in a Japanese matrimonial site, how many would respond? ....

"Tall, good-looking, mid-30s, white American man, recently retired from the US financial services sector in 2016. I plan on settling on some sunny Australian coast and I'm looking for a long term relationship with a Japanese woman."

Let me guess? At least 80% of the women subscribing to that site.

Yeah, anyone who pays for hookers.

And who's proud? You made a moronic comment before that I was some kind of racist looking down on the local asians (where, strangely enough, I don't actually live), and I pointed out that I was married to a Japanese women.

Sure, sure. That must be why your 'crazy' girlfriend dumped you and the only relationships you've been able to get all the years since are paid ones. And how exactly can you be recently retired from something in the future?

28   Rin   2015 Mar 26, 8:32pm

Ok, since you're more educated than me and of course I didn't get a BS in chemical engineering/applied chemistry, how is it that the charge effect vs the mass effect in Rydberg's constant is significant? They don't teach this at American high schools.

I can't be bothered. Presumably you know how google works. Are you saying that the answer isn't available on the internet?

And I didn't realize that everyone who went to college studied chemical engineering. Where did I make the claim of being a chemical engineer?

Out of interest, why are you getting your knickers in such a twist? After all, it was you who said that you needed to do your homework before going outside to play, not me. It was a strange comment to make for someone who claims to work in the financial sector, wouldn't you say?

32   Rin   2015 Mar 26, 8:46pm

Bigsby says

Rydberg's constant is there, however, the meaning involves taking undergraduate physical chemistry and understanding the field of spectral analysis vs mass spectrometry.

Bigsby says

someone who claims to work in the financial sector, wouldn't you say?

I'd told you all, many, many times, I was a former STEM person. I hate working in finance.

My interest in life is in working in the sciences, independently and on my own. Instead of recognizing that, you start all this flame baiting with my Canadian ex-GF and all that jazz.

My retirement/buy out date is 2016. That's when the seniors liquidate my assets and merge with a bigger organization. And then, I can do whatever I want with my life with my payout.

And yes, then, I could place that ad in some Japanese matrimonial sites and get many takers. Do I care for that? No. The time for relationships is over for me.

33   Bigsby   2015 Mar 26, 8:48pm

It's interesting that you like to answer questions that nobody has asked.

34   Rin   2015 Mar 26, 8:57pm

The point Bigsby is that you don't seem to know how to read a person like me.

I'm an idealist. For me, working for a bunch of corporate dicks is not my cup of tea. I do it, but I maintain a lot of my prior self, taking courses, being inquisitive and so forth. Ultimately, I want to be a real scientist.

I'm also very practical, when I hear that 50% of Japanese women take control of their husbands' money, it doesn't exactly inspire me to want to date 'em. In fact, as time goes by, I wonder why I should date anyone? It's not like anyone has really helped me with my current career, aside from my male colleagues who're in the daily battle field.

With that in mind, why should I date? What's in it for me? Why can't that Canadian ... be the end of the road?

35   Y   2015 Mar 26, 9:05pm

You're an idealist... who claims to work for a hedge fund that he hates, is (seemingly) a misogynist and only has sex with people he pays (because, apparently, you had your heart broken and have since been put off women). Yes, you're right. I don't know how to read people like you. I certainly don't know how to read that as being idealistic.

What's that got to do with dating a Japanese woman? If you don't want your wife to deal with the household finances, then do it yourself. Plenty of Japanese men do that, plenty go the route of 'pocket money.' It's called a choice.

Rin says

With that in mind, why should I date? What's in it for me? Why can't that Canadian ... be the end of the road?

You can. Who's stopping you? But why is it necessary to share your ridiculous tales as if they are something novel or to strive for? You are claiming to pay women to have sex with you. Amazing! How novel! Why did no one else think of doing that? Oh, hang on...

37   lostand confused   2015 Mar 27, 5:13am

Do people actually pay money to go to a doll brothel? I guess you won't get any diseases or worry about paying child support. The feminazis might come up with some way to fix that-put a doll fee to help the women and children.

Actually, in America (read: Not Japan or other parts of the world) ppl are indoctrinated into believing that relationships are the only way to go. So yes, by American standards, a man earning a good salary, who doesn't want to date around, is doing something outside of the cultural norm.

And prostitution is illegal in much of the USA.

Okay, I have to know. If different people are screwing the same doll, what are the logistics of cleaning and sterilizing all of the splooge receptacles? Or do you just put the rubber tweetie in the dishwasher on hot cycle? Do you really want to put your dip stick in somebody else's cum dumpster?
