So why are women getting better returns? Granted, that was for 2014 only, but I have read similar articles in the past. I think men trade more and take more risks, while women trade less and take less risks, sticking with well known companies.

Everyone I know, particularly on the Internet, is an above-average investor who knows exactly when to buy and sell - the same way that everyone has above-average kids and is an above-average driver.

The only reason anyone loses money in the markets is because of price manipulation and the Fed.
