That is what happened during the S&L crisis in the 1980's, and the bank bailouts of 2008.

When ISIS blows up Wall Street, do we mourn? There were innocent construction workers, cooks, clerks, IT people on the Death Star, single moms with kids working two jobs, and Luke blew them up.
