We've tried sealing the border for two decades and it hasn't worked.
Needed land mines and machine guns in guard towers with overlapping fields of fire. I would also immediately pardon anyone who killed illegals trying to enter or run away from police or ICE.

It's not possible to seal a 2000 mile border through mostly remote desert.

I read the latest fox news story that says 1 billion will go to increased enforcement and deportations, 600 million will go to fighting wildfires. But they didn't say where the other 2 billion would go. The washington times story comes up with an entirely different set of numbers. They say 1.8 billion to house children awaiting deportation hearings, 879 million for deportations, 116 million to transport to detention centers, 522 million for increased law enforcement, 64 million for hiring more deportation judges. No mention of wildfires.
Clever of those little brown bastards to sneak into the US to sit in those cushy detention centers waiting to be deported. The life of luxury courtesy of Obama.

This is an unfortunate situation all around. We are talking about kids here. The absolute first and foremost concern should be ensuring that they are safe and that they have an opportunity to be heard because many are leaving their home countries because the situations there are pretty bad.
This is also a situation where once again the GOP has gotten themselves into a bad place where by showing their true colors in regards to immigration they will be sending a message to the immigrant population in the US- a population they MUST win over if they care to have any chances in 2016. Amazing that the party somehow never learns from its mistakes.
