The state which exists to make Arizona feel better about itself.

http://www.kob.com/article/stories/S3209305.shtml?cat=500#.Unm_0DK9KK2

The incident began January 2, 2013 after David Eckert finished shopping at the Wal-Mart in Deming. According to a federal lawsuit, Eckert didn't make a complete stop at a stop sign coming out of the parking lot and was immediately stopped by law enforcement...

after law enforcement asked him to step out of the vehicle, he appeared to be clenching his buttocks. Law enforcement thought that was probable cause to suspect that Eckert was hiding narcotics in his anal cavity....

1. Eckert's abdominal area was x-rayed; no narcotics were found.
2. Doctors then performed an exam of Eckert's anus with their fingers; no narcotics were found.
3. Doctors performed a second exam of Eckert's anus with their fingers; no narcotics were found.
4. Doctors penetrated Eckert's anus to insert an enema. Eckert was forced to defecate in front of doctors and police officers. Eckert watched as doctors searched his stool. No narcotics were found.
5. Doctors penetrated Eckert's anus to insert an enema a second time. Eckert was forced to defecate in front of doctors and police officers. Eckert watched as doctors searched his stool. No narcotics were found.
6. Doctors penetrated Eckert's anus to insert an enema a third time. Eckert was forced to defecate in front of doctors and police officers. Eckert watched as doctors searched his stool. No narcotics were found.
7. Doctors then x-rayed Eckert again; no narcotics were found.
8. Doctors prepared Eckert for surgery, sedated him, and then performed a colonoscopy where a scope with a camera was inserted into Eckert's anus, rectum, colon, and large intestines. No narcotics were found.

Throughout this ordeal, Eckert protested and never gave doctors at the Gila Regional Medical Center consent to perform any of these medical procedures.

This alone is why the war on drugs should be ended and all powers of searching people removed.

Those participating in this repeated gang rape and medical malpractice, both doctors and cops, should be anally raped themselves repeatedly and the entire thing video recorded and played back at every doctor and police school as mandatory viewing. Then they should be imprisoned for life without possibility of parole.

To perform an intrusive medical procedure without consent alone warrants life imprisonment.

No lawsuit can rectify such criminal behavior.

Again, where are the gun people who claim to be protecting us from tyranny. If this isn't tyranny, what the fuck is? I want to see those NRA folk use their guns to haul these criminals in to a people's court and then carry out indiscriminate justice. Unless that happens, the Second Amendment is just bullshit.

2   Dan8267   2013 Nov 5, 12:25pm

Since this happened at a routine traffic stop, I say the people have a reasonable concern for their safety to justify shooting cops on sight under Florida's Stand Your Ground Law. You have to assume the cop isn't obiding by the law.

Perhaps this is taken directly from the plaintiffs filing.

Jesus Christ, you guys hate freedom. How are the police supposed to keep us safe from M-13 and Marijuana if they can't perform a dozen invasive tests after a traffic stop?

10   Shaman   2013 Nov 6, 12:05am

I was going to repost this story but hydro beat me to it! Curses! Foiled again!

If this is legal in Amerika, I don't want to live here. I can't imagine the jury that would fail to award this man the entire operating budget of the New Mexico police force in perpetuity.
If they all lose their jobs due to losing their budget, maybe the precedent will take hold and the thugs will discontinue this type of intrusive, invasive, HIDEOUS behavior!
This shit makes me so mad!

Clenching is what got this poor sap in trouble.
You have to relax during your illegal pretext stop. If they are going to seize your cash or plant dope, there is nothing you can do.
Tightening the old sphincter indicates lack of compliance, and can only get you in deeper.

This is a neat symbiosis;
The local militarized civil forfeiture pirates can team with the local "health care" syndicate and squeeze the tax paying plankton for literally everything they got.

Nope, no racial angle here. Back to prosecuting kreepy-azz krakerz.

Moral of the story, say you get stopped by a cop, and at the same time they ask you to get out of your car, you happen to have a really big fart that you are holding back, as a matter of courtesy, or so as to not be embarrassed ?

Just let it go man. Let er rip.

I hope the judge adds some very excessive punitive damages to the settlement.

Blurtman says

True. Also an example of how power corrupts. Especially when in the hands of morons.

14   HydroCabron   2013 Nov 6, 4:18am

What is this about farting? Why not follow through?

Shotgun a half-dozen burritos before every trip to the hardware store. When officer Barney Marquis de Fife turns on the light bar, chug a bottle of Ex-Lax, the over-spill dribbling down both sides of your face.

You can still drop your pants while handcuffed.

Let it go, man: just let go.

Be the Jackson Pollock of shit, and let the police cruiser be your canvas. They should have to clean the car out with a shovel.

The men in brown won't know what hit them.

I dream of an America where the vast majority of traffic stops and arrests include "the subject then massively defecated" in the report.

"Now, continued investigation by the local KOB TV station reveals Eckert’s story wasn’t an isolated incident. According to police reports, a young man named Timothy Young was also stopped by police after a minor traffic violation. The same K-9 dog, Leo, sniffed drugs on his seat, causing police to seek a warrant to search Young’s body for illegal substances."

Another Mule busted....seems many here would side with the smugglers.

Mule, this what they call people who smuggle drugs across border. very very common. so its no biggie one didnt have drugs.

The U.S. Supreme Court dealt with body packing in United States v. Montoya De Hernandez. In Hernandez, a woman attempted to smuggle 88 balloons of cocaine in her gastrointestinal tract. She had been detained for over 16 hours by customs inspectors before she finally passed some of the balloons.

She was being held because her abdomen was noticeably swollen (she claimed to be pregnant), and a search of her body had revealed that she was wearing two pairs of elastic underpants and had lined her crotch area with paper towels.

This is done because balloon swallowing makes bowel movements difficult to control. The woman claimed her fourth amendment rights had been violated, but the court found in favor of the border authorities.

Rasoul Speight Caught With 100 Bags Of Heroin In Anus, Police Say

It's the type of achievement that won't make it into Guinness World Records: A New Jersey man has been arrested after New Jersey police allegedly found 100 bags of heroin in his anus.

Rasoul Speight, 32, was pulled over during a routine traffic stop last Thursday. After police allegedly smelled marijuana, they searched Speight's car, but found "nothing of evidentiary value," according to UPI.com.

Both Speight and his passenger, Gary Sylak, 25, were arrested due to outstanding traffic warrants, and taken to police headquarters.

the spice must flow.. because Dan needs his "daily" pick up..

The swallower then attempts to cross international borders, excrete the balloons, and then sell the drugs for profit. It is far more common for the swallower to be making the trip on behalf of a drug lord or drug dealer. Swallowers are often impoverished and agree to transport the drugs in exchange for money or other favors. In fewer cases, the drug dealers can attempt extortion against people by threatening physical harm against friends or family, but the more common practice is for swallowers to willingly accept the job in exchange for big payoffs. An increasingly popular type of swallowing involves having the drug in the form of liquid-filled balloons or condoms/packages. These are impossible to detect unless the airport has high-sensitivity X-Ray equipment. Most of the major airports in Europe, Canada, and the US have these machines. Note that a liquid mixture of water and the drug will most likely not be detected using a standard X-Ray Machine. As reported in Lost Rights by James Bovard: "Nigerian drug lords have employed an army of 'swallowers', those who will swallow as many as 150 balloons and smuggle drugs into the United States. Given the per capita yearly income of Nigeria is $2,100, Nigerians can collect as much as $15,000 per trip."

Drug 'mule' aged 12

by DANIEL JEFFREYS, Daily Mail

A boy of 12 who flew thousands of miles carrying heroin worth £700,000 in his stomach was recovering in hospital last night after surgeons removed the containers.

Police in New York said the boy, a U.S. citizen who had been living with grandparents in Nigeria, is one of the youngest drug 'mules' they have ever seen.
He was only caught because his body began to pass the condoms the drug was hidden in while he was in a taxi.

Doctors who removed the remaining 'packages' from his colon said he would have died if one had burst.

Police said the boy, Prince Nnaedozie Umegbolu, made the dangerous journey because he wanted to see his mother, who lives in Atlanta, Georgia. He was to be paid £1,200.

His father, Chukwunwieke Umegbolu, is in prison in Virginia for drugsmuggling.
The boy's journey began in Nigeria where drug smugglers gave him the condoms to swallow.

He then travelled alone to London by Air Nigeria before flying on to New York by British Airways.

At JFK airport, a BA official helped him find a taxi, which took him to an address in Brooklyn, but no one was there to meet him.

Taxi driver Ronald Manning said Umegbolu then asked to be taken to La Guardia, New York's domestic airport, where he said he had arranged to meet a woman in the Delta Airlines terminal.

Lol this has nothing to do with my Libertarian views. If I was dictator for life, drugs would have been decriminalized 2 decades ago.

The news article is bullshit on some level. That's my dispute. While I often agree with Mr. Wong, I do not on this issue(nor on the NSA/Snowden stuff).

You on the other hand Mr. Cabron, have a really twisted take on authority/police issues. I really do despise corrupt cops. And I am glad when they are caught and their lives are ruined. But the bad guys lie a lot. Most of the time. And so do money hungry people who file lawsuits. So when this sort of thing happens, rather than choose a side, I'm far more likely to sit back and see what investigations discover before I pass judgement.

In short...criminals lie nearly all the time. Only some cops lie, and only some of the time. This is not a bias. It's what the circumstances describe. I'm truly happy that video recording has become so prevalent. It exposes lying cops, while also demonstrating that the vast majority of arrests are factually justified.

I'll hold off on judgement in the matter in this article until more facts come forward.

16 arrested in Pennsylvania "drug mule" investigation

SHAMOKIN, Pa. - September 19, 2013 (WPVI) -- A total of 16 suspected drug dealers have been arrested following an investigation in the distribution of cocaine and heroin from the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico.

Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane announced the results of the investigation on Thursday, which began in the summer of 2012.

Kane said the case focused on "an international trafficking organization that stretched from the Dominican Republic to New York City and then to Luzerne and Northumberland counties."

Citing a grand jury, Kane said Juan Carlos Alvarez, from the Dominican Republic, had supplied local users and dealers with bulk quantities of heroin and cocaine since at least 2008.

The associates in this case were allegedly hired to be "drug mules" and paid $10,000 to swallow balloons filed with large quantities of cocaine and heroin, which was then trafficked into New York City via international airlines.

The heroin and cocaine were then distributed in the New York City area and throughout northeastern and central Pennsylvania.

Agents estimate that during the course of the investigation the organization was responsible for distributing at least $2 million worth of cocaine and heroin, Kane said.

Even a casual analysis of your commentary on this site would lead a law-enforcement observer to conclude that you have consumed many varieties of hard drugs, and over an extended period of time.

Since you are not homeless - your posting times extend far beyond public library hours - there is reasonable suspicion to believe you are a man of some leisure and financial means, which, given your mental faculties and the awful battering that opiates and hallucinogens have administered to your brain, indicates that you are possibly a drug dealer.

Put more simply: probable cause.
