Yes, one word that sums up why this country is losing it's appeal.......................GREED
The basis of why we have so many unresolved problems that are multiplying. Compare how we compensate CEO's versus Europe for example, for what reason does this even seem logical?

Not sure how CEO pay has anything to do with this story. Sounds like their income was primarily dependent on the housing bubble continuing to expand and when it didn't they lost all their toys. Bad planning on their part.
