Yes, because they believe that their dead ancestors are gods, but no, because they claim to be monotheists. In fairness, the "monotheistic" Trinity isn't much clearer.

I don't think that their dead ancestors are gods yet, I believe that god hood is awarded for all eligible Mormons on judgement day.
They are polytheistic in that they believe that there are other gods out there that have their own planets that they rule. They aspire to one day become one of these gods.
Also, they believe in --but never speak of-- a "heavenly mother" who is also a god. In addition to this there are numerous other female gods that are our "heavenly father's" other wives. These god wives gave birth to our spirits, that were then sent to earth by our "heavenly father." This theology gives a basis to the "doctrine of plural marriage" taught by Joe Smith.
