As some people get older, their hair darkens.

Mine has been getting lighter as I get older.

If the homeowner isn't insulted by your offer...you didn't bid low enough!!!

White hair isn't considered attractive like blonde hair though, at least not for women. For men it might be associated with wealth.

The conversion of blonde to brown happens much, much earlier in life.

53   New Renter   2012 Sep 28, 10:31am

White hair beats no hair.

13 year old should be in 7th grade

All I remember was that that the party ended when I went to high school which was 9th grade. Prior to that the girls just wanted to fool around. By high school I remember hearing the dreaded R-word. Relationship.

This one takes the prize IMO.

American women are considered among the easiest in the world.

That's the opposite of what I have heard.

What kind of car do you drive?

A 13 year old should be in 8th grade.

I don't think so. One enters kintergarden at age six. Do the math. 12/13 is 6th.

It is typical for people to graduate high school and start college at the ages of either 17 or 18 largely depending on when in the year they are born. Thus it's typical for people to end 8th grade and start high school at 13 or 14. At least that's the way it is in blue states. Maybe red states are a few years behind.

My daughter is 13-years-old and in 6th grade. Are you implying that I am a prude for not wanting my elementary school-age child to be sexually active? Wow.

The original post was deleted before I could read it, so I don't know what the context of this post was about or to whom she was addressing.

However, I can say with quite certainty that almost all parents don't want their daughters having sex in junior high, high school, or college. However, that doesn't change reality.

Parents in general cannot handle the fact that their kids are sexual beings just like kids can't handle the fact that their parents are sexual beings. Each generation thinks it invented sex and that their parents never did it and their kids surely aren't going to do it. Each generation is delusional.

I would rather arm the kids with as much information and wisdom as possible before they make long-term life decisions. And doing that requires acknowledging reality no matter how uncomfortable.

Can be age 4 to 6, actually. I was 13 in 9th grade.

My son is grade 12 and he just turned 16. (He skipped 1)

I entered at 4 and skipped a grade. I ended up entering college at 16. What sucked the most was being told I had to go to the local high school to get a work permit. Also, having a curfew was a bit confusing to me and my college mates.

You guys remind me of the freaks in "the accused". Has patrick become a child porn site?

66   KILLERJANE   2012 Sep 28, 1:48pm

Slander is slander.

67   KILLERJANE   2012 Sep 28, 2:03pm

How so? The ladies in question have published these images themselves. The intent is pretty clear to anyone honest enough to admit it. They are leveraging their appearance to sell their services. Some are now being ridiculed for it. Do you really think this realtor is selling her brains, connections and work ethic?

ELC says

If she is its not apparent to me.

http://definitions.uslegal.com/s/slander/

"Slander is the oral communication of false statements that are harmful to a person's reputation."

"The basic elements of a claim of slander include;

"a defamatory statement;
published to third parties; and
which the speaker or publisher knew or should have known was false.
Slander is primarily covered under state law, but is subject to First Amendment guarantees of free speech. The scope of constitutional protection extends to statements of opinion on matters of public concern that do not contain or imply a provable factual assertion. If the slander unjustly accused you of a crime or reflected on your profession, the court or jury can assess the damages. For other types of slander you generally must prove some actual damage to be able to recover."

71   New Renter   2012 Sep 28, 2:40pm

What has been said here that is known to be false?

73   Patrick   2012 Sep 30, 7:23am

Interestingly, blonde hair evolved more than once suggesting that it is quite useful. Other features, such as the eye and the penis have also risen many times independently. Convergent evolution suggests a successful adaptation.

I read an interesting article in Scientific American online once that claimed that the unusual shape of the penis is optimised for removing semen.

That seems counterintuitive until you realize two things:

1. Removing the previous guy's semen is evolutionarily very beneficial.
2. Once you come, you almost immediately lose the erection so that you don't disadvantage your own semen.

So I bet that it is the correct explanation.

Obviously, it's a plunger. What else are we suppose to do? We don't have peaks to peck the semen out like birds do.

Liable (assuming you mean "libel," though). Slander?

KILLERJANE says

Let's start with the definitions... Slander is the spoken word. So it doesn't apply here.

Libel? A good definition is "is the communication of a statement that makes a claim, expressly stated or implied to be factual..."

pazuzu says

Realtors whose photos suggest they offer something extra come closing time.... (below the photo) Slumped against the wall, breasts thrust forward, she awaits your commission.

The OP uses the word "suggest," which negates that the statements were "expressly stated or implied to be factual."

If you're going to use the terms, you should use them properly. I would suggest that you just ignore this post if it bugs you so much. These realtors are using sex (even in old photos) to sell homes, and yet it's not acceptable to mention it?

crazy.

She doesn't like what was being said. She can't censor it herself so she's trying to scare Patrick into doing her bidding. Simple as that. A woman who sees no wrong in what someone does just because they're a woman is sexist as well.

A mentally healthy woman doesn't see men as misogynists. They understand men. Sick women are looking for men who will tell them what they want to hear and are willing become what they want them to be. It rarely works out for them for very long yet they keep doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results. If they're lucky enough to find a weak man the relationship may last. Unless or until they find out their weak man is also being weak with other women.

Removing the previous guy's semen is evolutionarily very beneficial.

But...does it remove the previous guy's Gonorrhea? That is the question.

What someone pokes fun at in a forum doesn't make them a misogynist. It's says a lot about the person who plays a, "card," whether it be a race card, sexist card, antisemite card, etc. It means they are looking for an easy shortcut to shut someone up, pigeon hole them, write them off, or control them.

It's not healthy behavior crying wolf for ego purposes because every time you do it is ultimately damaging to the credibility of the legitmate struggles of your race, sex, or religion, depending on which one you're choosing to hide behind.

"It's So Much more than a 'Sales Position'"

“The people I work with are usually pretty wealthy,” Mallin purrs in a soft English accent.

It's the being able to help that she enjoys, she adds, "and the money follows."
