If you have bought an REO, then did you use the banks title insurance provider, which the bank pays for during the transaction or did you purchase your own policy separately.
I ask be because in my opinion I think the banks, with all their 'hold harmless' language aren't the best to trust when insuring the title. I also know there is RESPA, section 9. If you agree in the sellers addendum to use their escrow and title co, then forget about trying to legally get your own title policy.
