I guess that she beat Bobby Brown to death.

Whitney Huston dies just hours after being asked to judge on the next season of x factor... Personally I think she made the right choice.

Q. What's pink and sits on the doormat?
A. Whitney Houston's valentines cards

I couldn't help but crack up with emotion. She was a real heroin. It's such a blow. She made a real hash of things though. Her life just went to pot. Someone should have kept tabs on her.

Q. What was Whitney Houston's worst hit?
A. The one that killed her.

She made the most of Black History Month.

I heard Eric Clapton was going to pay tribute to her at the grammy's tonight, by paying his hit "cocaine"

Q. Whats the difference between Amy Winehouse and Whitney Houston?
A. About 204 days.

Nintendo is releasing a new game based on the lives of Amy Winehouse and Whitney Houston.
It's called WiiHab

I still think some of her biggest hits came from Bobby Brown.

Whitney Houston ended her life the same way she ended her songs.
On a high note.

Today drug cartels will be hanging their Mexican flags at half mast R.I.P. Whitney
Bobby Brown was spotted at a sports store this morning - he was buying a punching bag because his old one is dead.

So Whitney's dead...., now she's reunited with her career.

Isn't it somewhat ironic that a woman who hasn't been clean for years managed to die in a bath.

Candlelight Vigil for Whitney:

Those are mean, yet funny as hell! Whitney was a great singer but a friggin' mess of a person. I can't imagine what it would be like to have the entire world watching everything I do all the time.

that's no excuse for her actions & behaviors, she was just living her life but it was a screwed up one at best.

Not so much a joke, but the funniest Whitney Huston moment ever:

Her only hell was she couldn't sing any more like she used to.

I think there's a untold problem in America of again partiers that haven't come to terms with their age and their limitations.

49 was a bit young, but there has been a rash of 50ish people dying from drug related deaths in recent years. I lost a close friend last year, out of the blue, Rocky was dead. Micheal Jackson, Billy Maise are a few high profile people to have died also in recent years.

I don't get the feeling these people were at an all time low at the time they died. I don't think they were strung out junkies pushing the envelope doing greater doses than their body could handle.
I suspect, that somewhere around 50, when historically partiers start curbing their usage, and change their lifestyle. Some don't, they keep a lifestyle of excess and debauchery, their hearts just can't take it.
Even lesser doses than they are used to are doing them in. People just don't listen to their body telling them to slow down.

The autopsy isn't out yet, and we can only speculate what killed her.
I would bet, it's nothing that she hasn't been doing for years up until the end. Sometimes the body just says "no mas!".

I'm not a Whitney Houston fan, but people think "Overdose" when these stories hit. I don't think it's a "Dosage" issue at all. That suggests that there's a suitable dosage for people at that age.
When in reality at 50, you're probably playing Russian roulette even when you use Sudefed.

I have a deviated septum and sometimes my heart pounds after I take nasal decongestants. I've gone from using sudefed or afrin, to using a neti pot.

The GOP says

The autopsy isn't out yet, and we can only speculate what killed her.

Yeah, and that will probably take weeks to come out.

My guess though is that the "cause" will be drug assisted drowning. After all she was found underwater. It is easy enough to fall asleep in a bath, but add liqueur and pills...

I am sure you intended this thread to be a "WAKE" like celebration of her life, Right ? She would have laughed at each of those jokes !

List ALL the stars you remember that died shortly after their fame did.

I can think of Elvis, John Candy, Freddie Prince...

John Candy was at the top of his game, he died filming City Slickers 2.
He was such a big shot, he kept the set a constant party on his dime.

Elvis was also in a strong comeback. He died on my 9th Birthday, I wanted his latest release Burning Love. His funeral procession was bigger than JFK's.

APOCALYPSEFUCK is Tony Manero says

There is no endogenous relationship between musical performance and abusing drugs and alcohol.

No, but there is a direct correlation between CELEBRITY and drugs/alcohol. Imagine going from normal to having everything catered to your every whim; no limits and everyone telling you how fucking awesome you truly are.

Oops - you already know that, AF.

But for some reason I remembered the Challenger jokes: What color were Christa McAulliffe's eyes? Blue - one blew east, and one blew west. hahaha

Aren't We sick for laughing at that kinda tragedy ? I had not heard that one. The only shuttle joke I remember involved throwing a lit match in the air. Worked for Richard Pryor as well.

He says he was running down the street on fire & some prick hollered, Hey buddy got a light ?

Q: What do Morton Thiokol and a walrus have in common?
A: Both are looking for a tight seal.

The earlier you kick the the drugs and booze the longer you live.

Liberal Pat. net posters: "It's Bush's fault!!"

You have to admit she was a fantastic singer. She was a beautiful women with a beautiful voice. Like so many other famous people, she got involved with hard drugs...terrible shame. Too bad there wasn't some type of intervention for her, Elvis, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, John Beluchi (spelling?) and so many other's.

Whitney - R.I.P. we'll miss you,

Abe
