I was wondering if anyone knows if this proposed stripmine in Sylmar California has devalued the real estate there or is it yet to come?

Sounds very much like Cupertino near Permanente Road... where Kaiser Permanente Cement Plant operated since 1939 and provides 50% of BA cement supply.
