Things are different now but we haven't solved any of our systemic problems.

The $600B/yr trade deficit that is ripping millions of jobs out of the country.

The $1.2/yr fiscal deficit being used to patch that hole.

The $2.5T/yr health sector that is raping everyone that comes into contact with it.

I don't know where this is going but we can definitely still see some very bad sequence of events happen to the US economy.
