"The idology that rules our media and dominates our culture is statism. This deadly philosophy believes that initating coercion is virtue, when that coercive force is done for the right cause. For the statists behind the teleprompters, the only acceptable form of political debate is defining the right cause, because, left or right, The State is always their ideal solution.

Yet this is a phoney choice. For it is a debate where, regardless who "wins", human freedom and choice will be dampened, if not crushed.

There is another way! You exist. Your neighbor exists. Both are endowed with rights. Each of you has the right to pursue happiness. And remarkably, when you are free to find your bliss...

*Society progresses
*The needy benefit
*The arts advance
*Technological progress is enhanced.

No system demands more virtue, no program requires more accountability than a system that emphasizes human liberty!

Statism is an evil system which needs to mask itself in morality-plays, phoney compassion and haughty altrusim in order to maintain its pilfering powers. Strip the Statist of those stolen vestements, and the resulting shame shrinks his or her power". From DownsizeDC.Org

Obama's "Hope and Change" has become Hopeless and Changless - Chris Christie. Oh, and this: "We're going to close Guantanamo within three weeks of my taking office". B.O. We're still waiting!

BTW, don't forget to send M.O. the three dollars she has requested following her multi-million dollar vacation. What did she say? "Let them eat bread"...is that what she said?

The political class isn't just trying to soak the rich and make them pay their fair share...they're going to soak everyone. Everyone with a job, everyone who owns property, everyone who uses electricity, everyone who drives a vehicle, everyone who travels in any form, everyone who eats, everyone who trys to put money into savings, everyone who dies. Its going to get ugly pretty soon. The 50% who work need to support the 50% who don't...its that simple, comrade.

Abe you bring incoherency to an art form. Bravo.

2   TPB   2012 Jan 1, 12:31am

If I were in my 30-40's and had the comprehension skills of a pubescent teen, on a chocolate and soda high. I wouldn't spend my time on forum that talks about modern politics, and socioeconomic issues.

3   Honest Abe   2012 Jan 1, 2:23am

It's clear neither of you can handle the truth. BTW, what will our political system be called when ALLof our freedom and rights are gone? GOP, I'm looking forward to your response, if you've got the comprehensive skills to understand the question.

The noose is tighenting around all our necks...but I'm incoherent? Bob I'd respectfully suggest you, sir, are wildly ignorant.

That wasn't directed at you, it was more in your defense.
But if comprehension isn't you're strong suit either, I understand.

My comment was directed at those, that are befuddled by logic and ideas that defies their core beliefs. So rather than leave it as it is, and choose to say nothing. Folks sure spend a lot of time, to let posters know they didn't understand it, as if that diminishes the sentiment some how.

As far as commenting on what was posted. Corruption has many names. And when we have an administration that can act on absolute authority through undemocratic processes, and use the media as their private ministry of propaganda.
Well that is the idiom of the ages.

"Absolute power corrupts. "

MO She didn't tell them to eat cake, that would be doable if not affordable. She told the poor to shop at Whole Foods, and drew a picture of what the dinner plate would look like...

If you're fortunate to afford to fill it. I wonder how much the Obama's are leveraged in Commodities?

Statists now lick the boots of corporatists. That is real problem. The reason the 1% are so terrified of the state taking their money now is that the 99% are pretty much tapped. They've already taken most of our wealth. Now that they find they have emptied our well, they're looking to the few that actually have money, namely the 1%. As for your claim that only 50% work, get your head out of the sand! 50% pay FEDERAL income tax. This doesn't include payroll tax, or sales tax, or property tax, etc. The first one is soley paid by workers and since the vast majority of working aged adults work, the other two are predominently paid by them. The threat of statism is far less today than the threat of corporatism. Let's deal with that first, then we can tackle government overeach, because without corporate backing, America's government would shrink dramaticaly, JUST by virtue of that loss of patronage and the favors the corporatists demanded in exchange.

All I've ever heard him do is repeat what he hears on AM talk radio or right wing blogs. The truth is that Abe is unhappy with his life, and he's looking for someone to blame.

What do you think right wing media is for; to misdirect the anger of those like Abe, who feel just how badly they're being taken advantage of by corporations and the government they own, but don't understand why their life is going down the tubes. Right wing media gives them three sources to blame, government (even though government takes its orders from the banksters and multinational corporations), themselves, and 'liberal' others whom they never personally meet but know are the root of their problems. This way, they never look behind the curtain to see who has manipulated government to the ensure their own wealth, at the expense of all of us, including Abe.

Nomo, see line 17, after the end quote, it clearly states: FROM DOWNSIZEDC.ORG. You're wrong - again.

And to the rest of you, big, massive, intrusive, parasitic government is not the solution, its the problem. The constitution was written to constrain government, now its being used to constrain the people. But apparently you haven't learned that - yet.

Govenment promotes actual warfare, class warfare, political warfare and the like to take the focus off the root cause of the problems in our country - which is the sociopathic politicians incessent need to dominate, control and manipulate others. Politicians use force, including the threat of death to make sure they get their way. Its a power trip and their only concern is to stay in power. Obviously they perfer to kick the can down the road rather than to make the tough choices and fix America's problems, most of which they caused in the first place. The result? We're losing our jobs, our retirement, our home equity, our way of life, and forcing the ultimate burden on our children and grandchildren. Thats pathetic.

But that seems to be of little concern to you people.

Once again I ask: What would a political system be called in which the people have no freedom or rights? Cause thats where we're headed, one stupid law after another.

Don't get me wrong. I'm pro-government. Limited, restrained government. A government that gets its busy body nose out of everyones personal life and business life. Of course we need laws, rules and regulations...but not so many that it kills jobs, productivity, industries and incentive.

Abe Lincoln said America will never be defeated by a foreign ememy. He was right. We're being destroyed by the enemy within...Statism.

Obviously you've failed to read any of my considerable number of pretty coherent (I think) posts about the ever eroding civil liberties and relentless rise of corporate power in the USA. I'm a lot more worried about erosion of civil liberties and corporatism controlling the political system than social programs. Those are the real threats to America, which are never addressed in your endless litany of poor little me I have to pay taxes posts.

After all that, you're nothing but another Statist.

Rereading your statements on this site is revealing a pattern. 90% of your responses are of petty personal attacks as opposed to just including one intelligent mans opinion of the pertinent content. Many of us are guilty of doing this due to unconscious attempts to enhance our own inferior feelings. Stop it ! It encourages politicians.
You are a hypocritical and caustic narcissist. Go to work on it. Your welcome. Pay me what you feel it's worth.

Treatments for Narcissistic Personality Disorder
Individual psychotherapy can be effectively used to treat narcissistic personality disorder, although the process can be difficult and time consuming. It is important to note that people with this disorder rarely seek out treatment. Individuals often begin therapy at the urging of family members or to treat symptoms that result from the disorder.

Therapy can be especially difficult because clients are often unwilling to acknowledge the disorder. This difficulty in treatment is often compounded by the fact the insurance companies are focused on short-term treatments that minimize symptoms such as depression and anxiety, but ignore the underlying problems.

I'm glad you are reading and rereading my posts; people like you have a lot to learn in terms of critical thinking skills and propaganda recognition.

The therapy emphasizes enjoyment of attention.
Yes, I have the whole cosmos to learn, that is one reason I read your posts.

With all the time you spend discussing pedophilia, maybe redacting some "Uncle Nomo's" would be in your best interest.

Dr Phil makes money pointing out significant personal flaws. Nomograph gets to feel better about himself after attackin someone who misspells.

Posting a stupid, unrelated picture after every post doesn't make you any less incorrect.

Thank You for that constructive criticism ... I think. I enjoy attention too. Any time you do not understand the relevance....... Send me a payment, I will break it down for you.

Oh Wait, was this a PERSONAL ATTACK ?
I found a list of paraprosdokian statements. Is this relative ?
