Yeah and they fired the 50 year old White Guys and even put in their adds do not apply.
I can see it now, they are unveiling the Prototype. The 50 year old white guy says... "What no manual override controls, that's fucking retarded, what if the controller runs out of batteries?"
Team looks at Rainbow colored X-Box controller and tells him he is Toxic and nobody feels safe with him there. They feel like he is a threat to their life, and demanded HR fired him.

Is there some evidence that it broke and was crushed by the pressure? That would definitely be preferable to knowing for three days that you're going to run out of oxygen.

I read that the 19 year old didn't even want to go, he went to appease his father. I think it's perfectly fine for older people to take such ridiculous risks but you shouldn't take your damn kid along. People are too stupid to realize that the deep sea is as terrifying as space. As much as you'd probably want to, you wouldn't strap your kid to a rocket and send them to Mars would you?
