Since at least the beginning of the 20th century, there has been a political ideological "Left": the Progressives. They believe in a linear progress of history and advocate more government intervention. It attracts a crowd that has little real understanding of history, and easily buys into a death cult: they want to jump straight into the "eventuality," which of course is a Great Leap Forward into Death . . . as everyone eventually dies.

It's utter hubris, and it's easy to get people to go along with it. Ironically, the death of God (figuratively) leads many to seek out Ideology as a replacement for Religion.

The difference in mentality is that the Founders expected bad shit to happen and tried to create delays and countervailing forces right into the Government. As I'm sure most on this board have noticed, more mischief comes from "Action Now! We know enough to implement the solution, one-size-fits-all! And if it doesn't work, we must double down!" rather than hesitancy.

There is absolutely zero…and I do mean zero….understanding on the part of the Roe supporting left crowd of the Constitution, of its history, of its part in the government process, nor is there any effort to reach such understanding. Like wise of the Supreme Court.

The California man who is facing life in prison after confessing to attempting to kill Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh told an associate that he wanted to murder three justices in a bid to “change the votes for decades to come,” according to new court documents.

Nicholas Roske, who flew to Maryland in June and exited a taxi outside Kavanaugh’s home before calling the police on himself, told the associate in a chat on Discord that he was “gonna stop roe v wade from being overturned,” an FBI agent said in one of the documents.

“What u tryna do,” the associate asked.

“remove some people from the supreme court,” Roske wrote.

After the person suggested doing so wouldn’t accomplish much, Roske outlined his plan, saying he “could get at least one” and was “shooting for 3.”

“all of the major decisions for the past 10 years have been along party lines so if there are more liberal than conservative judges, they will have the power,” he said.

A former television camera operator was sentenced to six months of house arrest, five years of parole and a $10,000 fine for threatening Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz and his family, the Department of Justice announced on Thursday.

Eugene Huelsman, 59, of Thousand Oaks, California, pleaded guilty to a charge of transmission of a threat in interstate commerce, according to Jason Coody, U.S. attorney for the Northern District of Florida.

Huelsman — who worked for CNN, ABC and NBC, according to Fox News — left a threatening voicemail for Gaetz at his Florida constituency office on Jan. 9, 2021, three days after the U.S. Capitol incursion.

The Department of Justice described the brutal, profane threats against the sitting congressman that Huelsman made via voicemail when no one at the office answered his call.

The DOJ said he threatened to “put a bullet in” Gaetz and “members of his family.” Huelsman also said he was “coming for” him and that he hoped the Florida Republican would “die in a shallow grave.”

After supporting street car takeovers in Portland, one of #Antifa's friends was killed when a stray bullet aimed at an elderly driver caught on the road hit someone on their own side. Antifa are asking for money for the victim's family.

Video of a street takeover near the Portland Expo Center on Aug. 28 shows an elderly driver in a van trying to flee. The rioters shot up his vehicle & shoot him (his condition is unknown). Bullets by the rioters hit 2 on their own side, killing 1. Police made no arrests.

The fatal vehicle-pedestrian incident happened early Sunday morning, Sept. 18, in McHenry, North Dakota, about 120 miles northwest of Fargo and 54 miles north of Jamestown.

Prosecutors allege moments before he was killed, 18-year-old Cayler Ellingson called his mom to come rescue him because 41-year-old Shannon Brandt was chasing him in the city of McHenry, where the street dance had just wrapped up.

By the time she could get there, her son was dead.

Brandt was officially charged Monday with vehicular homicide and leaving the scene of a deadly accident.

He was the one who called 911 to report the crash,” said North Dakota Highway Patrol Capt. Bryan Niewind.

Court papers show Brandt called 911 around 2:30 a.m. Sunday and told the 911 dispatcher that he just hit Ellingson, claiming the teen was part of a Republican extremist group and was calling people to come get Brandt after a political argument.
