What would you see as a "fair" solution? Israel is free to do business with whomever they want, incl. arms and they have superior tech. Most Libertarians and a growing number of people on the left and right are against meddling in the middle east so if Israel would be attacked and it escalated into a full blown war, it's possible they would level Palestine (since numerically they are outnumbered against the Arab world). Would you be ok with that? This is way past who is wrong and who is right and Arabs either learn to live with Israel or be prepared for a lot of damage. Just because Israel is militarily superior doesn't make them the bad guys. So stopping the rockets and constant provocations would be a good start, for the sake of their own people.

I live in Northern Virginia. We had mask mandates in all indoor settings (outdoors also). I NEVER once wore a mask in a grocery store, convenience store, gas station, restaurant or drug store. I got kicked out of 2 restaurants and 1 convenience store that whole time (over 12 months). For sure,, I cut down on how many trips I made to these establishments though. I am almost positive that the mask sign at the door of most retail establishments mean practically zero. No one cares. No one is going to bother you. In fact, an acquaintance of mine called a store to ask about their mask policy and they told her they put up the sign but don't enforce it. I'm betting that close to 90% of people don't give enough of a damn to make any waves or "get into it" with those who don't comply. Try it.
Funny(?) story: I went into a gas station mart about a year or so ago. The guy in front of me at the cashier asked me to put on a mask. I looked him dead in the eye and told him he should be more concerned about all the smoke he was about to put through his lungs (he was purchasing a carton of cigarettes) than a person who he is not even facing "might" spread the dreaded Covid.
My parents may succumb to the Covid but, it is not dangerous to those who are relatively healthy and younger than 70.
