These are City contracts that are being cancelled. I work for an engineering firm that specializes in water/sewer projects. We are a niche technology, but have been the world leader for 30 years. They cancel us and hire a more expensive and inferior competitor costing the tax payers money through government incompetence and wokeness, Don't even get me started dealing with prevailing wage and public sector unions jacking up the cost of infrastructure projects.

The Democrat party are the chief backers and supporters of the government bureaucracy and public sector unions making California (and government) so expensive. They are also the chief backers shoving the PC SJW crap down our throats. This effects my pocketbook and the quality of my family's life.

But he went to Occupy DC and saw all the SJW bullshit - he has a great story of strong, independent women feminists fleeing in terror after being "mansplained" that if they didn't lock up their treats, rats would come. And in your last sentence you've finally gotten the point, although not sure you meant to. Why is Christianity and christian values under such heavy attack? Think it's not? Read the 10 commandments, there's not one you can tell people to follow anymore without offending someone because of your un-woke white privilege. This is by design. A community cannot be formed without shared values. For 2000 years, with various degrees of success and fidelity, Christianity has offered a framework for people to live by and to form communities around. This is why every government for 2000 years has tried to subvert it.

More importantly in particular, with the Renaissance and enlightenment, Christianity was the moral framework around which western civilization as we know it today was formed. Now it is under attack and losing relevance extremely rapidly. What comes after? Who knows. What we can say is that in the 20th century, when a government tried and succeeded in suppressing Christianity, most of the time totalitarianism followed.

This is why the social issues matter. If the government and the media succeed in this culture war (and they are winning it currently), there's not going to be any communities to challenge it.

Oh please. Nobody is interested in bringing up dirt on Tulsi. (As if there was not dirt on Biden, Warren, or Harris). Tulsi's appeal to the "Right" is her anti-war stance, and the slim chance Tulsi may bring a more sane border policy. Also, from the way a few of the pro Tulsi posts read, the motive appears to be the poster just wants to nail that babe.
