Well, so far not too impressed with who snap has been performing the last couple months.
Well, I suppose I should put ads back in some form. They might actually cover the cost of running the site at least.
Short that F**ker like it ain't no thing, holmes...

Absolutely.

Well, since you aren't getting any Amazon money for being a porn / illegal activity site, you might as well serve adult ads. They may pay more to get onto a non-porn site.

Snap stock tanks after IPO expenses run up a $2.2 billion loss for the first quarter
Shares plummeted more than 20 percent on Thursday. The company spent $2 billion on stock-based compensation expenses after its initial public offering, widening net losses for the quarter to $2.2 billion.
CEO Evan Spiegel got a $750 million bonus for taking Snap public. He told analysts on a conference call that the company was focused on improving quality for users during the first quarter, especially for those with Android mobile phones.
Remember Facebook?
what about it? it's made people a lot of money
But not out of the door. The ones who jumped on the IPO were underwater for a long time, IIRC.
I'm thinking Snapchat will fail.
What do they offer that anyone cares about? It was a fad like fidget spinner
I'm thinking Snapchat will be similiar
I don't know, it appears to be popular with young people.
The reason it will be valuable is as a vehicle for advertising.
I went long on banking JPM
I'm thinking Snapchat will fail.
Are you the one who went long on oil?
Most of my best stocks over the last couple of years have been financials (not strictly banks): V, CBOE, SCHW, JPM
Not sure why that is.

That does kind of surprise me too. Banks and Insurance companies are seriously strong winners of this decade. It's like the plastics of the 80's.

because they made the rules
Patnet, great news:
The powerhouse American manufacturing company "Snapchat" is days away from its initial public offering!
Oh wait, it's just an app company written by a millennial (who is 26 now) for millennials. Millennials love it because they can't commit to shit in life, including a sending a photo that isn't to appear on the receivers phone for more than 10sec.
Nevermind that they don't have a physical headquarters and operate out of bungalows in Venice Beach with remote programmers all over.
Snapchat sets IPO valuation at a mere $22B 😒
I'm fascinated so let's take things further
Monthly active users:
Snapchat - 301M
FB - 1.23B
Insta - 600M
YouTube - 1B
Snapchat almost exclusively makes money via advertising. Can they realize growth with such a useless concept?
Who is in?
All you have to do is open a brokerage account, wire in all your life savings, and set a buy order for the morning of the IPO.
Will your money do exactly what snapchats photos do after 10sec, poof disappear lol
