I think we see more issues with the left because of age, the left has a lot of younger people that are not having to deal with the all of the realities of the real world yet. The right is made up of a lot more older people with kids, family, and work to deal with. Who has time to spend all night doing protests, never see protests in the morning because they are all sleeping in recuperating from their party protest.

Politics isn't about policy anymore. To most Americans, the election is about culture and which team your a fan of. This sad state of affairs is demonstrated commonly on PatNet and everywhere else. When a candidate wins an election, people don't say so-and-so won, they say "we won and you lost" just like they do when their football team wins -- another instance in which people claim someone else's victory as their own.

Put simply, lots of people don't actually care about the policies and the government. They only care about the false self-affirmation they get from their team winning and will often cheer for a candidate that does the opposite of they want but plays for their team rather than the candidate that does everything they want but plays for the opposing team.

Unfortunately, many people are stupid enough to believe they have an actual connection to the high ranking politicians they cheer for just like they think that football player would totally hang out with them and be their friends if only they could bump into him unexpectedly. That's a pipe dream, but people love their delusions. In reality, neither the football player nor the high ranking politician would give half a shit about you if they even bothered to think about you, which they don't. You are just one of many cows to be milked to support their lifestyle, their fame, their power. Sure, they will pretend to like you all while laughing at you on the way to the bank.

People are so desperate to be accepted and like and to be one of the popular kids. That is one of the primary reasons politics is so polarized now. It's an attempt to be accepted by your peers. When two people of opposite parties are put together, they will compromise and see each other's point of view. Put a third person who's a member of either party, and his peer will suddenly become more polarized and no longer able to argue rationally and compromise with the other side. It's totally peer pressure. The left and the right are clicks, and all the voters are mean girls.

The protest absolutely are being funded by moveon.org, Open Society Foundations, and ultimately Soros. The new AG absolutely should file a class action civil suit on behalf of affected cities against all those organizations as well as Soros to recoup the cost of law enforcement services as well as damages to property. Individual officers should also sue if they are physically harmed. Should a city decline to join the class action(because the politicians in said cities political future funding relies on Soros), Trump should use the media spot light to highlight exactly how incredibily corrupt these politicians are especially corrupt mayor asshole Eric Garcetti of Los Angeles.

People have to be less concerned about the stuff on facebook and other social media for three reasons. First a lot of it is kids. Secondly, social media provides a unprecedented platform for the mentally itll such as our own Gary Anderson. Third, its simply going to simmer down.

Nobody likes to accept an adverse result.

But Trump supporters have been more honest about their feelings.
