When I was growing up snow was that beautiful white stuff on the mountains above town. Now it's that brown stuff in the street...

Ice see your point and I get your drift. But then again, I'm a flake.
Why not go with the floe since there's really no reason to be polarizing?

There’s been a blizzard of replies and this thread is starting to snowball.
It snow joke. I thaw on the weather channel that we might get some of the white stuff next week, but they're often wrong. When I bring it up, I get an icy reception. I might be drifting off-subject, here - but the tv weatherman might be skating on thin ice. It's a slippery slope when they're wrong all the time. The weather guy on CBS paid the Price for his weather reporting.
He was met with an avalanche of complaints, I guess.
