If I were FDR?
I would admit defeat on Dec 8th 1941 and cut a deal so I could move my stash of GOLD to Tokyo where I would be welcomed as a hero! (I would also have negotiated for a summer palace in Berlin) and done simul-casts with Tokyo Rose.
