Just found this, and found it puzzling.

Makes sense to have certain exceptions, but has anyone read the bill?

Are you trying to win a prize for the biggest load of bullshit linked to on this site?

dunno, outside of the "Brother O" stuff it looks legit to me. If the Amish can avoid the mandate due to their religious convictions, I don't see why Islamic sects won't be able to should they make the argument.

Of course, I don't understand why one would want to avoid the mandate to begin with, unless the Feds don't fund it, like they failed to fund NCLB. Now that the Republicans are in charge of the House going forward, this is most likely going to be the way it goes down in 2014.

WTG America!

yes it is true Muslims, native Americans and illegal immigrants are exempt form the health care mandate,

i cant believe you hadn't heard about it every tea party member was outraged about it and screaming their heads off seemed impossible to miss,

the obvious solution is just to become Muslim problem solved, anyway thats what i did I converted at the local mosque, and i could give a fuck because before i was atheist, now im muslim, i dont give a shit, as you can see muslims have laws in their religious code to shield them from jew ideas and dangerous progressive ideas like insurance, interest, wife exposure and loans, making a Muslim get health insurance would be akin to making them eat pork and kiss a jew

Don’t be an such an idiot, at least not in public.

Awe, Nomo - it's easier to post a stupid topic here than to search for the truth. I realize that there are less keystrokes required for actual research, but how can lpm get the bobsey triplet's panties in a knot if he looks it up himself?

since it is impossible to "prove" religious conveictions, and they can only be claimed, then I really see no problem with everyone putting on a robe and abvoiding the TSA stuff all together. lol

I know this was not TSA, but it was all I had! lol

POPPYCOCK, rabble rabble, HUFF! Moan grope bitch and gripe...

Don't be ridiculous, [insert end of Liberal Debate here]

I don't know, because "I" like the 435 members of the House and the 50 Senators didn't read the fucking thing. And even if I did it's being modified almost on the hour, for every hour since.

Partly line towers here, I can only hope this abortion of a legislation bites these people in the Ass the Hardest, AND IT WILL, because they Want to believe, with out reading the label.

@ellie,
is SNOOPS concidered a valid source by Cons and Libs alike? I remember some debate on here a few years ago about that site, but I can't recall. I like their name.

I realize it's later on the east coast, but you're obviously on a wake & bake mission. Care to try again and see if you make any sense?

Bap:
Snopes & truthorfiction.com are two sites that check out interwebs rumors. They're easily accessed and cite their sources. People who are reactionary and don't care about the truth of the rumors they're spreading don't appear to like these because they debunk the rumors. If Lpm had wanted to know the truth, he wouldn't have posted his question here, he would have looked it up himself.

Obama bad, conservos good. yawn.

I really like #7 best.

Really, Bap? didja read it? 'cause it says (in reference to the comment that three men in particular were chief economic advisors to the Obama campaign):

However, although at least some of these men have had connections to the Obama campaign at one time or another, none of them has ongoing roles with that campaign as chief economic advisors.

Franklin Raines "has had some dealings with the Obama campaign but never held any actual position."

James Johnson "was not serving as an economic advisor to the Obama campaign"

Tim Howard - "no substantive connection between Tim Howard and the Obama campaign"

I thought you loathed Obama, yet here you are defending him. Coming around, Bap? :)

no no ... I blame B.Frank and his boyfriend Frankie, that is why I liked the link. I do not find any blame in Barry over housing. I do not think I have ever blamed Barry for most of our econ stuff. It was already underway, in my opinion.

Sorry for not being clear. I never do that! lol

I'm not a big fan of Barney either. So, today, I shall blame him for my vacuum dying too...
