Listed for sale: $825k.  Also listed for rent: $1650.  Not too much disparity there...  I guess the only problem with renting from them is that in a few months you'll probably have to move when they are foreclosed on. (just my guess)

Looks like gone off the market for rent. I did a search didnt find it. Anyway, I think it was a good deal to rent this house and awfully expensive to buy it.

1302 sqft for a 3/2 spells tiny bedrooms! $633/sqft for a boring box home that backs up against a noisy main street (Wolfe)? Keep dreaming.

Isn't she a beauty? That dead lawn says either a long-term rental or distressed property.

I think the rental listing was a scam. It seems someone (not the owner) finds houses for sale and lists them for rent and then gives some story about doing charity work in Africa, send your money here, blah blah blah.

Probably was a scam, but that house rents for 1800-2200k tops either way.

The house I'm in, in Campbell, is much nicer and I pay 1800.

Sale History
11/26/2003: $550,000
11/20/1997: $288,000

We got past reasonable prices after 1998 as prices doubled by 2000.
Certainly $800K today is way way way out there. And I agree, buy this and go into
foreclosure.

1997 prices adjusted for inflation... comes to $384K or so..
so, Camping number comes close near $360K

What cost $288 in 1997 would cost $384.84 in 2008.
