IMO, the cartels directly threatened American politicians like they threaten politicians in Mexico. I think such a threat is why Pelosi went from being for closed borders to suddenly wanting an open border. Now that Trump is in power, the cartels know that a hit on an American politician will be met with deadly retaliation. Also, the CIA will not be on the cartel's side.

We can only hope. In the meantime it's Ivermectin plus the @Rin cocktail.
