There's talk to amend the Constitution to allow Trump to run for a third term.

I don't know about allowing 3 back to back terms, but I think the law/limit should be 2 consecutive terms.

If a one term President loses the race for his second term. Then is able to come back and run for a second term. Then the People obviously saw something great in that President. It's most possible he was robbed by the lying media is why he lost the second term bid. Then if that person is still popular enough to win a second term, after coming back to win back the presidency after skipping a term. Then he should be allowed that third term.

It takes one term just to get on a good roll, to be interrupted by media and political shenanigans, robs the American people of his greatness. Give him two terms the next go around if he can do it. A second term is needed to get Congress to codify his agenda and EOs so they aren't wiped out by the next sour grape President.

Should the law be 2 consecutive terms, or 2 terms only?

No.

We should also limit congress to two terms.

Period.

Although Trump never really had a first term.

Yet.

Start with needing to gain 18 seats in the Senate in 2026. Seems doable?

Yep I almost suspect many RINOs are pretending to be backing Trump's most aggressive agenda items knowing full well the Senate doesn't have the 60% majority. So that they look viable in the midterms preventing what needs to be done in 2026. These items should be shelved for the midterms fight.

If itʼs not happening in 2026, it's not happening, period.

Not unless the 17th Amendment is repealed.

Total nonsense. First, it would require 2/3 of the States to pass legislation in support of the Constitutional Amendment. Then, it would require 2/3 vote of the House & Senate, then signed by the President. It won't happen. Why waste the time when there are much bigger fish to fry?

... which requires the same 2/3 Senate majority.

No. It takes 3/4 of states to ratify an amendment.

He's too old. He's still got it, but I wouldn't be for a 3rd term. I don't know how a 90 year old understands my wants and needs IF government is involved in my life. Even with his kids being young, at 55 my dad had no clue what I was talking about. I'm a hard no on it. I legit wouldn't vote for him.

You think your dad didn't understand your juvenile shit at 55. What did he get birthed at the age of 55, when he fell off of a turnip truck?

Why do youngsters think older people don't understand their immature whimsical needs, because they won't argue with you, or let you win a flawed argument? I'm not arguing that 90 isn't getting up there, but when you invoke the ainx of a snot nosed brat not getting his way with the Oldman as your exhibit A you lose.
