Politicians.

I don't see much difference. They both lie to the public for profit.

Actually, the most honest politician I know was a Realtor who became a US Representative. She won the election on a shoestring budget and did not owe any major donors anything.

It's not even close. Realtors may rake you over the coals but it only happens to you if you let them, and only when you decide to buy or sell a property.

Politicians rake you over the coals every single day of your life, and, they ruin the country while they're at it.

To the best of my knowledge, Realtors don't start wars (except maybe firebombing a For Sale by Owner upon occasion), whereas, politicians are in the business of starting wars and then receiving blood money kick backs.

Obviously, my vote goes to slimy politicians with this caveat; believe it or not, just like there is an occasional honest Realtor, the same holds true for politicians, and even attorneys. (I actually knew two attorneys ... twins as a matter of fact ... that were honest, which shocked me to the core.)

Well, I'm a retired real estate attorney, broker and former local politician and my vote goes to realtors. I've seen it all. Any industry where a participant will literally suck a dick to get a deal is at the bottom of the scum pond in my book.
