Russia definitely had ground troops in.
I used to pay attention to a Telegram channel which was NO DOUBT Russian propaganda, they would pick up video from Ukrainian bodies for propaganda purposes.
The numbers at this point might be possibly correct. Estimates I've heard is 300,000 Ukrainians dead and 30,000 Russians dead, but that was a while ago, and it's too much of a toll to pay too much attention for too long.

Because to my knowledge Russia hasn't sent in marching foot soldiers. I mean where would they bury the dead from such a bloody battle anyway?
There are a lot of acrid video footage missing from this war story. That's all I'm saying.
