Doing this gig part time so I can save up for the holidays.

Plan to spend time in a Jewish synagogue during these holiday times.

I am Jewish and I am always look for ways to make some extra money on the side along with my job at a car dealership!

Amazon just ran my background check and will give a final decision this week.

I can’t wait to start!

It's $170K, actually.

That's with the value of all the benefits added in.

I’ll never do any of these driving gigs. You gotta factor in 50 cents per mile for gas + wear + depreciation for your vehicle. Do that and I doubt you make minimum wage. I think if I was looking for an easy holiday side gig I’d stock shelves at Target. $20 bucks an hour + employee discount.

Working for a living is overrated. But the minority of the US population continue to do it no ways!

might as well as try the legit site Rat Race Rebellion for work at home jobs

I also just signed up to Walmarts Spark delivery service as a delivery driver.

One spark driver made $100k yearly doing it full time - 60 hours a week.

I think it’s a great way to supplement income.

Will help me pay off the loan I took out on carsbyowner.com

No, working isn't over-rated. Trust me, I've been in both places. Right now, I'm in timeout sick of it, but I'm eager to produce again, I just don't want to work for a lot of companies.

Production, it's enjoyable. I love creating and making.

The problem I've run into is a LOT of my work is digging ditches and having another person fill it in. There are so many fraud companies in my field, you wouldn't believe it. Solyndra was a fraud company, Tesla is, really Microsoft and Apple are now. How can we serve the public for the benefit of this world? That's a real question.

@richwicks

How are they fraud companies...because they survive via public $$?

Because they don't solve a problem. It's still a mystery to me how they are funded but some definitely get government money.

My job is to improve the world. It's not satisfying or enjoyable to me to work on fake bullshit.

How can anyone deny this country is a fraud? Total fraud that will implode at some point. Honestly, it's depressing. I'm sure it's the goal.

The trolling on this thread is epic.

Yes, I now think Robber Baron is trolling.

Yes its subtle. Robber Baron at least is more coherent and entertaining as Apocalypsefuck.

Regardless of the original intent of this thread, there still are salient points about gig economy opportunities to supplement income. There are Upwork and Fiverr as well as Rat Race Rebellion website.

Yeah, companies like Apple start off as creators of innovative products which benefit society on a whole.

Then they grow and become bureaucratic and have to buy smaller companies in order to at least maintain their rate of innovation and productivity.

Look at how Google was business smart with purchasing Youtube so early on after Google went public.

But as far as GNL states, there are a lot of companies that are zombies or blood suckers.

I go back to 1999 when a college classmate was working at Garden.com and trying to get me to buy that stock.

At least Rumble (ticker: RUM) seems to offer some value and has growth potential , especially going into the 2024 election cycle.

That is how I look at investing no more than 10% of my savings in new public companies.

Which is about $30K. And it's not like it's a bad thing to have benefits.

its a slow death if that is the case

but there are still victories and accomplishments that can be seen in plain sight which provide hope for the future

the standard of living is still maintained ... its not hard for the lights to remain on ... you can see a doctor anytime by going to the emergency room... food is readily available ... public education K-12 is still an important part of each town and county ...

....
