This thread is first of all an acknowledgement of future history. Namely, that Jesus promised in His word to return again to rescue the redeemed Christians (dead and living) from this world before the judgement/great tribulation period.

Second, this thread will be left behind as a witness to those who are not rescued before the rapture. One day millions of people will disappear from this earth. Suddenly, in the blink of an eye, your spouse, children, bus driver, co-worker, or that person you thought was a Jesus freak will all be gone. And in that moment of fear, loss and confusion there will still be a voice of reason. That voice could be the sermon you heard but ignored. It could be the memory of a friend or family member who prayed and witnessed for you. It could be a Bible or a video of the gospel. But that voice will be there (and here hopefully) to remind you that everything God said has and will happen just as He said it would.

So if one day millions of people disappear all around the world, remember that God said it was going to happen and turn to Him with all your heart knowing that you were wrong and accept His gift of forgiveness. And then study the scriptures, ask Him to reveal to you what you could have known years ago if you had taken the opportunity to listen. And He will show you what to do.

Or better yet, if you are reading this before the rapture, congratulations there is still time to escape the wrath to come. (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.) 2 Corinthians 6:2

I never saw the original Left Behind movie starring Kirk Cameron, nor did I read any of those old future fiction novels which I’m sure are a bit dated by now in a world of Covid lies, climate crisis, lies, fake elections, AI, renewed wars and rumors of war all over the earth... but I did see the newest Left Behind movie directed by Kevin Sorbo of Hercules Legendary Journeys fame.

It’s actually really interesting how they portrayed certain aspects of the future saga in fictionalized manner of course. One of the most vivid scenes is of a woman digging up the grave of her grandmother who died as a Christian in 2017. She was digging up her grave to verify if this scripture was true. “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”
‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭4:16-17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I’ve never thought about the chaos that will happen after the rapture, but obviously some believe that people will resort to digging up the graves of Christians who died in years past to verify that God raised them up!

Are you ready for the rapture?

I think you can watch the new Left Behind movie for free on some of those streaming services. Enjoy!!

The answers to life’s greatest questions can be found rooted in Genesis.

The Satanic Inversion of Society is found in Genesis.

Even the Churches are insisting Adam be Eve's helpmate and inverting the Natural God-Given Order.

Yes, it is just one of the many signs of the times. Women don’t want to be women and men don’t know how to be men in a mixed up world where wrong is celebrated and right is demonized.

Read Acts chapter 17.

You don’t need a machine.

Another sign of the end times. Killing people with mental illness and calling it medicine.

Just curious; where is that 'end times' prophecy in the Scriptures?

2 Timothy chapter 3 is a good start
111   RayAmerica   2024 Apr 28, 1:10pm

Except the 3rd. Chapter of 2nd. Timothy doesn't mention anything about "killing people with mental illness and calling it medicine," so how is it to be interpreted as a "sign of the end times?"

There's a lot of retconning going on in "Popular Science History".

Materialists mostly had to be dragged kicking and screaming from the Steady State Universe - took decades of Cosmic Background, Doppler Shift, etc. evidence to move the paradigm to Big Bang. Einstein himself was pushed grudgingly from materialism to light Deism over his life. Hoyle took a lifetime to shift as well. In fact, "Big Bang" was a derogatory term pushed by Hoyle, who was one of the last holdouts for Steady State

The Steady State Universe absolves materialists of origin questions: "Well, the universe always has been and will be. Is just always was"

Big Bang is an enormous problem for materialists.

1. If there were sufficient and necessary causes beyond the Universe, it would have triggered immediately so the Universe would be infinitely ancient and we wouldn't be here to ponder it due to Heat Death happening in the infinite past.

2. If the creation of the Universe happened at a finite time, only an actor's intervention could have held it back and/or caused it at a specific time.

3. A SupRAnatural cause violates Materialistic principles.

4. Exotic origin theories like Bubbleverses and such are complete ex rectum ideas without a lick of evidence or reasonable inference.

Do you know what the Crisis in Cosmology is? There is growing evidence that there wasn't a Big Bang.

There's a few fundamental problems with this Big Bang hypothesis. It wouldn't shock me at all to find out it was wrong.

If we see volcanism, erosion by wind and water, etc. today, materialism assumes it also happened in the past.

Ah, look at this layer of dust! It must be from a volcanic eruption as it resembles the same dust layers we see appear near active eruptions!

If we see a complex code today... materialists assume there was no coder

Aha! A specific set of instructions that produce certain outcomes. We only see that with writing, programs, etc. Can't be a code!

Data Science is ripping DNA evolutionary theory to shreds. Changing pieces of code at random is far far far far more likely to error and rubbish than utility. And erroneous, rubbish code doesn't get copied much.

Life is NOT designed like a "complex code". It's assembled by a bunch of parts and almost randomly. We aren't an Alpha Romeo Spider, we're an escape vehicle made from parts stolen all over from a prison to make something that can drive for a few miles.

Most of our DNA is garbage DNA. In life, you see the same pattern repeated over and over again, dolphins have 5 fingers, so do horses, but you only see the single toe.

And when it does, it's called cancer. We have telomeres at the end of our chromosomes, when they become too short, duplication of a cell is supposed to become impossible.

Haha. You ever code for a living? I have, and this certainly happens and a lot more often than you think.

Ray: the chapter starts out talking about perilous times. I don’t know about you, but if you have heart sickness (another term for “mental illness”j and your doctor recommends suicide, that sounds like the definition of perilous times. The person who is tasked with making you well, suggests killing you as a solution. Perilous times indeed.

I agree. It's an evil policy. But is it a sign of perilous times that a DR. recommends suicide to a patient? Incidentally, there is a legislative movement going on right now to make this illegal.

The entire church age has been fraught with 'perilous times.' In fact, just off the top of my head; up until the Roman Emperor Constantine (4th. Century), who melded some of Christianity with Roman paganism, Christians were fed to the lions and fought to the death with gladiators for the entertainment for the Romans. The world also had incredibly perilous times throughout the Dark Ages, where law and order vanished and disease was rampant, while literally wiping our over two thirds of the population of Europe through violence and plagues. For over 600 years, the RCC carried out their European Inquisition, whereby, Catholic Monarchs were used to torture and murder Christians that didn't bow their knee to the Papacy. In modern times, WW I saw death on a massive scale, claiming over 20 million deaths in Europe, with WW II, that rose to over 55 million. International Communism, murdered over 100 million innocent people .... I could go on, but I'll stop. We aren't even close to the "perilous times" that those aforementioned victims went through.
118   PeopleUnited   2024 Apr 28, 8:09pm

I would argue that the Covid 19 lies and deaths associated with the man made virus and the man made catastrophe of the response to the virus (whose effects we are still feeling) are on par with, if not exceeding the things you mentioned. It is like birth pangs, they vary in intensity but they become more frequent as the time approaches. Dr’s killing babies, killing patients (assisted suicide, ventilators, wrong use of medication, untested vaxx), governments freeing violent criminals and leaving borders wide open, these are all perilous. I agree that it is going to get worse but I don’t know anything more perilous than a doctor that kills.

It’s like a pastor that condemns you to hell or a pilot that crashes your plane on purpose. When you live in a day and age where the people who are tasked with helping you are deliberately destroying you, it is the epitome of perilous times.

Really? Under the leadership of China's Communist dictator Chairman Mao Zedong, about 60 MILLION of his fellow countrymen, many of whom looked into a ditch that would soon be a mass grave and were shot in the back of the head. I think they'd probably have a different opinion of "perilous times" than yours.
120   PeopleUnited   2024 Apr 29, 9:57am

Mao killed his own people. The globalists who created the virus (and no doubt have many more in the works) were able to kill people in probably every single nation around the world, and they even managed to make it illegal to go to church in “free countries “. Now doctors are not only pushing unsafe and ineffective vaxx they are literally recommending suicide as treatment for mental health patients, Yep perilous times. But it will get worse. You can bank on it.
