It had been obvious that many of these statements were totally false from the get-go, so what is the motive?

COVID-1984: The Message has indeed changed.

2020: Wear a mask until there is a "vaccine".
2021: Get the "vaccine".
NOW: Get the "vaccine", wear a mask, and still get tested.

July 16: "Vaccinated" people have considerably less nasal load
July 29: "Vaccinated" people have the same nasal load

April 1: "Vaccinated" people cannot transmit COVID19
July 27: "Vaccinated" people can transmit COVID19

July 16: Dr. Fauci said vaccinated people who develop asymptomatic infections have "considerably less" virus in their nasal passages compared to unvaccinated people with asymptomatic infections.

July 27: Dr. Fauci said ‘When you look at the level of virus in the nasopharynx of a vaccinated person who gets a breakthrough infection with Delta, it is exactly the same as the level of virus in an unvaccinated person who’s infected.

April 1: Dr. Walensky said vaccinated don't transmit COVID19, which she acknowledged still believing in May (see quote below)
https://fortune.com/2021/04/01/its-official-vaccinated-people-dont-transmit-covid-19/

"Unlike the Alpha variant that we had back in May, where we didn't believe that if you were vaccinated you could transmit further, this is different now with a Delta variant," she (CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky) explained.

Perhaps most disturbing is the use of the word "believe" in the quote above from Dr. W. So in fact, there isn't evidence to go beyond faith that the vaccinated weren't transmitting COVID19 prior to Delta.

Delta now accounts for 83% of cases in the USA.
https://www.statnews.com/2021/07/20/delta-variant-surges-to-83-of-sequenced-covid-19-cases-in-the-u-s-cdc-says/

Yet some health officials and some politicians will continue to shame the "unvaccinated" and continue to push for a "vaccine" passport.

When it gets to the point of testing the "vaccinated", then

...we need an exit strategy out of the current cycle.

Many people who have been infected with SARS-CoV-2 will probably make antibodies against the virus for most of their lives. So suggest researchers who have identified long-lived antibody-producing cells in the bone marrow of people who have recovered from COVID-191.

The study provides evidence that immunity triggered by SARS-CoV-2 infection will be extraordinarily long-lasting.
