Let's all be honest, there's a reason Public transportation sucks, when it could be a pleasant experience

Nope it's not because black people run amok and can't control themselves.
But it's because Liberal policies expect and encourage them to.

And if your religion has a problem believing in Evolution. Just remember God said he created man in his image, he didn't give any body the recipe.

Saw some racist stuff at work and didn't respond. It's gone now. Had 'legitimate' science links and everything!

Sadly, there are assholes who make up bad science and then those that promote it. Race really isn't a thing other than a social construct, I know that hurts some people's ears but if you go global estimates are we are 1/50th cousins. The 1/30 I mentioned above is for Europeans only. Both are inbred AF.

It's really hard to show you guys this without sounding like just another hack but I'll try. Check this out:

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/genome/gdv/browser/genome/?id=GCF_000001405.39

That's a random position I picked in the human genome, chomosome-1, assembly number 38. See the zoom in/out icons and the slider bar? Slide all the way to: +

Now you can see the A/C/G/T code level. That's the latest human genome assembly. It's composed of several Caucasians which is problematic for some precise work but for the most part you can plop anyone's (just get your bam file) in there and it'll map perfectly. We are ALL nearly 100% the same. Everyone who's left on the planet is Homo sapiens sapiens. Yes, there were a lot of other hominids that ran around all over the world before we came along but we all came from Africa. No doubt about that at all.

Edit: Okay if you click on that NCBI will send you to a position with Ns... So click on one of the chromosomes and THEN zoom in.

So some more, your genome will map on that nearly perfectly. So then some people posed: "But why are we so diff then?", others, "It's got to be epigenetics". You DNA doesn't sit there all stretched out like that. It's coiled and the coils are coiled. In some places methyl groups are added that makes it hard or impossible to do when your cell wants to transcribe a particular 'gene product'. It's another level.

But that's BS too. It's culture. Races have some differences but by far the biggest contribution to our differences is culture. Demoncrat politicians intuitively know this.

Question for other gen-Xers: The 80s and 90s seemed pretty cool right? We all got along and mixed pretty well is what I remember. Lots of fun, parties, ribbing each other, joking around. Sometimes a drunk got emo and wanted to fight but I grew up in TX so that's par for the course there.

After 2000, I recall starting to see ruckus's in GG park. Loud ass bitches with megaphones screaming about environmental racism! Which later transformed in to all manner of shit after we elected that asshat Obama.

No, the earth is not flat, the earth is not the center of the solar system and humans did not evolve from apes. There is exactly zero evidence that a monkey can become anything else. It is right out of the NWO globalists playbook to divide us by superficial things and discredit the one true God. The globalists must do this because they cannot tolerate the competition, and ultimately they can’t tolerate religion because it gives people hope that is not dependent on their government puppets.

I used to be possible to have racial diss wars that didn't end up in butthurt.

But that's also when some kids having a fight was no big deal. Today the idea of kids having it out over anything is bullying, male toxicity, etc.

The problem with the genome mapping of man, there's no other hominids around to compare DNA to.

You can't compare DNA from reptiles and birds, even though they evolved from the same tree.

So to look at the human genome and not find any Gorilla markers, as proof we didn't evolve from primates is silly in my opinion.

I don't think lowland Gorilla's and Chimps were the same animals they are now back then either.

Look showing a bunch of people taking a very civil well behaved ride in public transportation in the 40's, 50's and 60's, doesn't prove anything other than what I said.
They didn't tolerate stupid people acting out for the benefit of a certain political party.
They didn't tolerate white people acting like punks and if segregation hadn't been a thing, they wouldn't have tolerated them being unruly either.

I still stand by my OP that public transportation doesn't have to be a miserable experience where punks of all races act like wild rabid banchies, and dare you not say anything least you be labeled Karen and called a racist after you get your ass beat by them.

Here's research that supports what I'm saying about early man lineage.

Yes I said ancient DNA is useless unless it supports my hypothesis. :P
52   just_passing_through   2020 Jun 16, 7:19pm

Interesting article... I hadn't seen it. 2013 NGS (Next Generation DNA Sequencing; cheap massively parallel sequencing) was just coming up. They may have tried to use Sanger Sequencing instead in those days.

Either way, that's too old to get DNA out of under those conditions.

We got plenty of Denisovan from a toof. We have plenty from various Neanderthals. Those are only 30-60K year old samples though. There are others as well. Bones and teef! Not rocks!

There sure IS a lot of hyped DNA tech/vaporware out there but bioinformatics in general and NGS (which I was an early R&D person for) are legit.

My favorite hyped BS was at an Art and Wine Fest in Foster City. Some bitch at one of the booths tried to sell me vitamins based on my genetic profile (which is still pretty much BS to this day; it happened in 2011) so I asked her, "Okay, what kind of tech are you using to get my profile?"

She stared at me like I just kicked a kitten and didn't even fucking know.

Later, a pal of mine whipped out a binder when I dropped by his pad to pick him up before heading to a party. It was one of those vitamin companies and was some sort of multi-level marking shit he bought into. I had to tell him he was scammed. No fun.

Well, that is not what God said.

“And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so. And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1:24-31‬ ‭KJV‬‬

And in case you didn’t know that the “scientists” like Fauci and Birx were liars, they are. Just like the liars who claim diverse species like bats and sea lions came from a common ancestor. No, they came from a common designer. A creator who used DNA/RNA as a common tool to build and allow for adaptation to changing environmental conditions.

“For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:”
‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭3:5-6‬ ‭KJV‬‬
https://www.bible.com/1/2pe.3.5-6.kjv

And this flood is what buried billions of dead things in rock layers laid down by water all over the earth. We call them fossils. A direct result of God’s judgement. Those who are willingly ignorant of the previous judgements, will not be ready for the final judgement.

Yes, people are creating modern religion of bigotry and racism disguised as the opposite. It is quite amazing that people’s fear of acknowledging their own sins would cause them to point fingers at others. But then again listen to what Jesus said to the religious leaders of 30 AD

“And when the Pharisee saw it, he marvelled that he had not first washed before dinner. And the Lord said unto him, Now do ye Pharisees make clean the outside of the cup and the platter; but your inward part is full of ravening and wickedness. Ye fools, did not he that made that which is without make that which is within also? But rather give alms of such things as ye have; and, behold, all things are clean unto you. But woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass over judgment and the love of God: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone. Woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye love the uppermost seats in the synagogues, and greetings in the markets.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭11:38-43‬ ‭KJV‬‬
https://www.bible.com/1/luk.11.38-43.kjv

The Lord was not a fan of organized religion, especially the religious leaders. He did not build mega churches, He did not command his followers to buy buildings and collect tithes. He told them to teach the truth of the gospel to a lost and dying world. And soon He will come again to judge the living and the dead. We all are condemned. The only escape is to accept the sacrifice Jesus made in our place. To reject this is the final insult to a God of grace and mercy, a God who must also administer justice, because of His righteousness. Every wrong must be punished. Jesus was punished for all our wrongs, but if we don’t accept His payment, we must pay for our sins alone which means separation from God for eternity in a place called the lake of fire which was created not for humans but for the devil and his fallen angels. Sin is a debt that cannot be paid, except by one who is as righteous as God himself. Jesus is that man.

Sure evolution is a thing. It is also a religion to some who think bacteria can become an animal with eyes, and ability to learn. It has never been observed therefore it is not science, it is religion.

Scientists can’t even reanimate a dead organism. It is foolish superstition to think that millions of years accidentally spontaneously become complex organisms, even simple organisms don’t just “happen” without a creator.

That is actually a very good point. Most "African Americans" (who are not recent immigrants from Africa outside of Liberia) are actually descendants of Slave-Owners! Due to the advantage for slave girls to reproduce with masters (both for herself and for her offspring).

What the Slave-Plantation Party ("Democrats") advocates as "Reparation" is actually taxing the descendants of Union citizens during the Civil War (the Union white population far out-numbered the Confederate white population) who supported, fought and died for the abolishing of slavery to pay the descendants of Confederate Slave-Owners.

That’s right there is no evidence that bacteria can evolve into anything else but bacteria with different adaptations, but still characteristically demonstrably and verifiably of the lineage and classification of bacteria. Only a religion can make people believe that bacteria will ever change into anything but another type of bacteria. The amazing part is people are not honest enough to admit that it takes more faith to believe life came from nothing than to accept the evidence that everything God says in the Bible is true.
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”

“These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word. Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee. For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me. I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them. And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are. While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled. And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves. I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world. O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me. And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.”

God created physics the rest took eons and eons.
God Created man in his image, was some creative writing by Franciscan monks 1500 years ago interpreting a Jewish Allegory.

God is more abstract than the Universe. He is so Universal that all Human cultures have the concept of God, in different ways. But no mistake they are inspired by the same God.
Where religions get it wrong is how they manifest him, and creation.

But what is the right way to manifest God? Just look at the theories of what the Universe is and how was created. There's as many theories as their are Religions.

Religion is a basic requirement for humanity. We try too hard to understand, that we often miss the universal message. Without religion, there would be no humanity.
Religion is there to chill people the eph out. Without it, Civilization would have never been created. One group of people would have killed the other group of people that first moved from hunter gatherers to Civilization. There would have been no morals, and not much to fight for. Just humans acting on human animal instincts indiscriminately.

You don't have to be a devout Religious person to understand and appreciate the universal basic concept of Religion that happened around the same time independently, with all cultures separated by Oceans and Terrain.

Where it got messy, was when one religion wanted to be the only religion. But that's on Man, God didn't ask for that.

This is evidence that religion is a man made thinG. But it does not change the fact that God made everything and gave us the Bible (as a history/how to, and oh by the way this is what is going to happen the future book) so that no one can claim ignorance of the truth.

Religion is mans attempt to placate God. He doesn’t want your service, money, sacrifice. That is why God rejected Cain’s sacrifice. What God wants is to be your sacrifice, simple accept you are not worth of His forgiveness but that He gave his son in your place. All the rest is meaningless if we fail to accept that we are sinners in need of a Savior.

Geez, I thought I was getting a little off theme when I brought up the facts about “blacks” and why public transportation is commonly shit in certain areas (and, with respect to “blacks”, in all areas, actually).

The OP did present an image of “blacks” in a public transportation setting so I thought I was not getting too far off base (if at all) from the theme of the OP's thread. I presented information that I think is appropriate and relevant for my claim of social disruption and violence by members of the society.

But, wow, this thread has gone goofy.

I restate the OP's title, “Let's all be honest, there's a reason Public transportation sucks, when it could be a pleasant experience.”

What in the world does God talk have to do with what the OP (as far as I can tell) had in mind to have a conversation about? Bacteria? When and how and if God was created? Geez! Start a new thread!

Ah, now you're talking! Physics, well that's a REAL science. If you were interested in this stuff I'm sure you'd be very good at it. As an aside science never proves anything. Math does but not science. Science just gathers a preponderance of evidence until it reaches a point where only a moron or an asshole would question it. Climate science isn't even close to that category. There aren't a lot of things that fit that category but evolution is in the top 2.

So not to feed the bible thumper but since you brought physics up check this out:

This guy took the rules from evolution and came up with game theory: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Maynard_Smith

Some other scientists later expanded on that and showed that evolution (and game theory) tunes organisms (and algorithms) such that their perception is best suited for 'fitness'. When they forced their bots into also considering 'reality' they became less fit and it took more energy. That and a bunch of other physics (like the math involved for the Planck constant and its relatives; which get down to the smallest length possible, and the structures that form are these little triangles that actually make up PROGRAMMING LANGUNAGES <6 or 7 of them if I recall>) show us that it's not 'turtles all the way down' https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Turtle but instead, 'mathematical structure all the way down'.

So we're basically living in a simulation. Our perception of what is really all around us is wrong, including evolution, much like our perception of what is happening with we type on our computer keyboard. We see text show up on the screen but what's REALLY happening is springs are compressed, electrical circuits are executed and so on.

We perceive everything through the interface of our brain which isn't really seeing reality. Just what we need to see to procreate etc., There is a word for it I can just never remember. Like vooshigy or something. Humans vooshigy is much different than what a bat or another organism perceives. There are even humans coming on line now (mostly women) who can see colors that most other humans can't.

So we see the world not as it is but how it best suits us.

Actually, I found a video that covers this well:
www.youtube.com/embed/UJukJiNEl4o

It'll fuck your mind up though. Also doesn't cover the Planck stuff or the math I mentioned. Still muy interesting though.

I don't mind Christians. I used to be one. Catholic even. Until over time I realized it's all BS. I still live by Judeo-Christian values because they are useful. However, they didn't need to come from religion. Evolutionary biologists find the seeds of similar morality if chimp culture for christ sake. But that's another story...

Brainwashed people that try to lecture me, or won't give their 8 year old a soda because 'god doesn't want them to have it', among a plethora of other boorish behavior are annoying as fuck.
69   just_passing_through   2020 Jun 18, 6:31pm

Also, maybe God did create physics? Who the hell knows... Science and religion are mutually exclusive. I always find it laughable when preachers try to give me the 'poof' it all just appeared story. They are effectively saying that their god isn't good enough to do things that way. It's too much for their little pea brains or something.

Aww hell, I just can't stop.

@10lb: Have you ever heard of the double slit experiment? Not the one with Asian hookers, the physics version? It's sort of required reading before that video. Essentially it's this

Put up a piece of cardboard with two vertical slits in it maybe 5 feet from a wall. Now you on the other side, fire ONE photon at it.

Attempt-1: Don't pay it any attention, the 'photon' will go through BOTH slits and make a wave pattern on the wall.
Attempt-2: Repeat attempt-1 however this time watch it. It will only through one of the slits and will make a point pattern on the wall.
Attempt-3: Get sneaky and get between the wall and the slits but don't do anything to observe the photon when you fire it. However after it's gone through both slits, quickly observe it. That motherfucker backs up in time, goes back through the slits, picks a single slit to go through then makes a point pattern on the wall.

The implications are unreal. But except for the time travel and the fact that observation affects reality it's a wave function collapsing. All reality are wave functions collapsing. All electrons are wave functions collapsing. It is conceivable that there is only 1 electron in the universe even though our models describe electron flow, etc.,

Ah, now you're talking! Physics, well that's a REAL science. If you were interested in this stuff I'm sure you'd be very good at it. As an aside science never proves anything. Math does but not science.

Ah but math is science as the variables changes, it takes Science to produce the formulas. Math is just taking formulas Scientists have already figured out.
It's the Science cheat sheet.

Scientists are a bunch of deaf, blind, nincompoops in a dark cold room trying to find their way out. Every once in a while one of them comes up with a helpful mathematical principle that moves them one step closer. Or they hire a mathematician to do it right for them.

Two things, I would be a tee totaler Flat Earther before I would believe in the Simulation Experiment. That's just Zombie science.

There's no such thing and never will be as Time Travel. Time is way more than a chronological time in the serial sequence of the universe existence.
It's a snapshot of all 4 dimensions. We're on this rock flying through the big great void of nothing. Which is big enough to hold everything that ever was, every thing that is now(although technically that void isn't nothing right now) and everything that ever will be. Everyone is amazed by how big and massive the Universe is. I'm impressed with the big huge void that the universe is hurtling through at millions of miles an hour. And like a long boxcar train, once that train passes that spot, just a big empty void is left, that will never occupy time or space ever again. But more amazing than that, is the huge vast expansion there still is to go through. We're never going to run out of track.
So we've got that, the whole you can never cross the same river twice. That's all part of the 4th dimension where we are at this very moment. Once the caboose catches up, nothing will ever occupy this space ever again.
Now gravity being like a membrane, and you have one planet on one side, represented with a green pea, and 6 feet on the other end, represents Hundreds of Thousands of light years away, with another green pea. Now the wormhole theory that spawned time travel and universe short cuts. They say "You just have to bend the fabric of space to make the ends meet. The universe is more like a huge Dust Bunny, with interconnecting dark mater gluing everything together. So drop a bowling ball in the center of the membrane, not only does your planet move closer to the one on the other side. But so does everything else in between. It will end up with a smashed up broken mess, if it were possible.
You would need something so massive and huge to make that much of a significant bend in the fabric, it could be seen from anywhere in the universe. You're private time travel or Galaxy hopping joy ride would cause so much calamity, and there would be nothing to come back to.
But sure it makes for fun math.

I took Bart to the city twice. That was plenty for me. What a zoo!

Slits were real physical experiments. I encourage you to read up on this stuff more. Maybe too late for a career but you're edgy and those are the guys who make breakthroughs.

I got a kick out of a comment you made a couple years ago or so: Something about the oceans won't rise due to glacier melt because the extra weight causes the water to sink in and be absorbed by the continents or something. Maybe even the source of waterfalls, etc.,? I thought the first part is plausible and I hadn't heard anyone consider that before. The latter is a noooo! haha

Actually, if it were a low water fall maybe.

Yes there's a 33ish thousand feet correlational between the deepest the Ocean can physically get, and the highest mountains can get.

Have you ever seen fresh water Springs bubble up from the ground. Or have you ever been up mountains and see the rocks secreting a constant trickles of water, that collect to form little streams, then connect into creeks then eventually feed Rivers? I always saw that in the Blue Ridge mountains, and saw it in the Andes mountains. The leaks are coming from cracks in the rocks, not from the top, which would be what you would expect with condensation or precipitation. The water the rivers feed the ocean is equal to the waters that percolate and create all of the rivers feeding into the ocean. No sea level rise.

I didn't have a problem with the slit experiment, I've seen it before. I was commenting on the Simulation theory, that we're all living in a Sims.
That's just poppy cock I wouldn't take any more serious than Flat Earth nonsense. That's what gets me about Atheists, They refuse to believe in a higher power, but they would totally be all in on Simulation theory. Or some other lazy thought process to be the stopgap where Science can't explain any further.

So the Double Slit experiment doesn't prove light is waves. It only proves that light refracts and creates ripples. Water does that but it isn't a wave it's a state of particles.
If you poured water through those slits, it would run down and trickle through the slits, then if it were possible to observe how the water was interacting once the water dripped to the bottom of the box, you would see the ripples on bottom. When you apply filters to optics, you don't see that light spectrum or everything you would see would be awash. You see the light bouncing off the object it illuminated. The observable wavelengths of light, are waves created from lighting hitting an object. \
I still believe that light travels in an undiscovered state until it hits something and the photons interact and create light waves we see. Like not being able to see water, but being able to see when something is wet.

Indeed, grew up at the foot of the Texas Hill Country. A limestone sponge that soaks up the rain called the Edwards Aquifer. I knew secret swimming holes where fresh water sprang up you could drink without a filter. But in other places I could imagine the land soaking the water up like a sponge. It was only a few years ago we discovered there is likely more biomass underground than above it. That could be an active pump so to speak if I were being imaginative.

I see, yeah, sims have a lot to show, but fun to consider.

Well, I'm no physicist so touché. My understanding from physicists is they are suggesting all of reality (the way we see it) doesn't even really exist until some consciousness observes it which collapses a wave function. Kind of like that, "Does a bear take a crap...", wait no, "If a tree falls in a forest and nobody was there to see it did it make a sound?" - no if 'no consciousness' was there to observe it then it didn't even fall yet. It's potentiality would be there in a wave function that collapses when observed. Deep shit.

I'm no atheist, I'm agnostic. Who the fuck knows but I'll tell you this: The more I learn about science the more it seems there is some higher level of control. It might be someone playing a video game though.
