The US population is 329 million.

So 1% of that is 3.29 million.

The probability that any given black person will be murdered by a white person that year is 3.4 / 3,290,000 = .000001, or literally one in a million.
The probability that any given white person will be murdered by a black person that year is 42.3 / 3,290,000 = .0000128, or a bit over twelve in a million.

My point is that it's very small either way, and that the media is HUGELY exaggerating all of these problems in order to:

1. get more viewers to sell more advertising
2. divide us so that we cannot unify against our owners who are selling us out to China

I think when you do it like that you have to divide by % of that group in the population. if you just compare raw numbers it works itself out
