Density wise Sweden is also much lower than France, and it's on track to pass it in total deaths per capita in a week or so.

You realize within every country there are very dense areas called cities, right? If one of these dense areas has a high population of the demographic that is vulnerable, they will have more deaths. Montana has 15/M deaths while NY has 1,507/M deaths. What is the difference between these two locations? I know this has been posted multiple times here, but just use the sort functions and look at the states with some of the worse cases per million. https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/us/

Everyone is painting with too broad a brush with this virus. Montana should have never been closed down for the short time it was. NY should have been shut down way earlier. This is part of the reason it seems like Trump is passing the blame to governors. Well it's true. They're going to know their state substantially better than the federal government. It was the right response to let the states do what they deemed best, because they know better. Not federal big brother.

Sweden has 10 times more deaths per capita than Norway and Finland, and 4 times more than Denmark which has a higher population density than Sweden.

... and 20%+ less than Belgium, France, Italy without a harsh lockdown.

How is Denmark, Norway, and Finland counting? Are they counting like France, US, UK, or are they counting like Germany?

Sure, if you include the Northern Half of Sweden which is Ass Numbing Cold, where nobody lives. Swedish cities on the Baltic and Kattegat, where the vast majority of the population lives, are fairly dense.

About 90% of the 3,700 people who have died from coronavirus in Sweden were over 70, and half were living in care homes, according to a study from Sweden’s National Board of Health and Welfare at the end of April.
