In a shame of a trial in which everyone, except Romney, voted along political lines. The Republicans had control of Congress and did not care about the law. They would have not impeached him no matter what. They even suppressed witnesses.
Many of the Democrats would have impeached him no matter what, much like the Republicans during the Clinton impeachment.
This whole affair will go down in history as proof that politicians are above the law and that our checks and balances are an utter failure. The best case scenario is that future generations will correct those checks and balances. Expect nothing from the Boomers.

When they attempted to remove him from office with this Russian Collusion nonsense, there was two possibilities - maybe somehow it was true, or they're freaking insane to expose how dishonest they are. This is why they setup Flynn, because there's no threat of prosecution. The courts are corrupt as well. They lied to the FISA courts, because the FISA courts are corrupt and knew they were being lied to. I figured somebody in our "news" media would see the BS and would have to call them out on it, but no, our "news" media is purely propaganda for the establishment. They don't even attempt to be plausible anymore. They are outwardly criminal.

There's an economic incentive in place to misdiagnose people with Covid-19 - the federal government picks up the tab. The entire economy wasn't shut down due to the sniffles. Something else is going on, in a few months, we'll know. I expect the cost of everything go up, for necessities, not for luxuries.
